11:00:56 And it's planetary rulerships and.
11:01:05 Co rulerships deacons and dignities.
11:01:08 And so without further ado, I'm going to launch into it.
11:01:11 And you can watch the replay of this event.

11:01:37 So today we're talking about planetary rulerships and
11:01:41 signs connected to the planets.
11:01:43 And it's actually really fascinating to look back at the history of
11:01:46 how.
11:01:47 The signs and the planets, you know, came together.
11:01:51 And, you know, some,
11:01:52 some planets have two signs connected and other planets just have
11:01:56 one sign connected.
11:01:57 And so what the reason for that is because,
11:02:01 you know,
11:02:02 Before technology,
11:02:03 particularly with the outer planets and that's Uranus,
11:02:06 Neptune and Pluto.
11:02:07 You know, human kind didn't have the technology to know.
11:02:11 That there were three outer planets. And so that's why.
11:02:14 Say.
11:02:20 Jupiter for example,
11:02:22 was connected to a Pisces and Sagittarius.
11:02:35 So that's the reason that you have planets now with one
11:02:39 sign or two signs, connected is purely technology. And,
11:02:43 you know, in the future, we may have more planets.
11:02:47 That are discovered that we don't know about right now,
11:02:50 because we don't have the technology to see the planets,
11:02:52 these undiscovered planets, because.
11:02:54 You know, mercury is connected to Gemini and Virgo.
11:02:58 At this time.
11:02:59 But there is sort of whispers in the astrological world.
11:03:07 That you know,
11:03:09 the planetary ruler of Venus may be discovered
11:03:13 or in fact, Ceres the asteroid.
11:03:16 Is now classified as an asteroid might be upgraded to a planet and
11:03:20 then connected to Virgo.
11:03:21 So it it's, it doesn't shift and change rapidly, you know, like.
11:03:25 Back.
11:03:26 A couple of decades ago now, not 20 years ago, but less.
11:03:30 Pluto was demoted from planet to whatever it
11:03:34 is.
11:03:40 According to astronomers, but you know, we,
11:03:43 as astrologers would dare demote Pluto whatsoever because Pluto
11:03:48 B.
11:03:49 The most.
11:03:50 Powerful planet of all.
11:03:53 You know, you wouldn't mess with Pluto sort of thing.
11:03:55 So things do shift and change occasionally here and there.
11:04:01 So that's why it might be a little bit confusing about why there may
11:04:05 be two sides connected to a planet.
11:04:07 So I'm going to go through the planets in order.
11:04:10 And.
11:04:13 And then talk about which signs they're connected to.
11:04:15 And then talk a little bit about the characteristics.
11:04:17 Of.
11:04:19 Of the sides and the planets.
11:04:21 And so then you can see the commonality there.
11:04:28 So the first planet, and we know, you know,
11:04:30 from our previous lessons that the sun and moon are not technically
11:04:34 planets.
11:04:36 But we, you know, to just to keep things simple,
11:04:40 we do classify the sun and moon as planets.
11:04:42 So with the sun.
11:04:44 The sun is connected to.
11:04:46 Leo.
11:04:50 And so it's interesting because the son is the
11:04:53 archetypical father.
11:05:04 Or not, or sat in his as well,
11:05:06 but the sun is like the archetype of the father.
11:05:08 The moon is the archetype of the mother.
11:05:09 So then you've got Leo and cancer as the mother and father of the
11:05:12 Zodiac. And so the son is connected to Leo.
11:05:16 And so the sun.
11:05:17 The sun and Leo, you know, that the keywords here for them.
11:05:20 You know, leadership and rulership and, you know,
11:05:23 willpower.
11:05:27 And it's, it's connected to our ego as well. You know,
11:05:30 the sun is the center of our solar system.
11:05:33 And so if you are fortunate enough to have.
11:05:35 Leo in your life then, you know, they, they shine,
11:05:38 they shine as brightly as the sun.
11:05:40 No matter what the circumstance, they just can't help that.
11:05:52 So, you know, Leo and the sun are connected.
11:05:56 So, and you know, then we moved to the moon and,
11:06:00 you know, the moon is connected to cancer.
11:06:02 So the moon is the ruler of cancer.
11:06:04 And the moon is about nurturing and mothering and our daily routines.
11:06:08 And, you know, on, on the shadow side of that,
11:06:10 both the moon and cancer.
11:06:12 Or particularly cancer has a reputation of moodiness,
11:06:14 which is connected to the phases of the moon.
11:06:17 No, the moon's phases move.
11:06:18 You know, we go through a moon cycle every 28 days.
11:06:27 And then the soccer begins again at the new moon. And so, you know,
11:06:31 that relates to the emotions of cancer, you know,
11:06:34 moving through emotions quickly.
11:06:37 And so the moon and cancer are connected.
11:06:39 And that's the commonality.
11:06:41 Between those two.
11:06:42 And of course, as I said, son, his father moon, his mother.
11:06:56 And, you know,
11:06:58 the moon is connected to the tides on earth and the water,
11:07:02 the watery emotions. So cancer being an emotional water sign,
11:07:05 you know, the other water signs of Scorpio and Pisces.
11:07:08 And this is also a recap of.
11:07:09 You know, the previous lessons as well, because you know,
11:07:11 of course everything ties in together,
11:07:13 particularly with these rulerships and co rulerships.
11:07:16 Then we have mercury. So mercury is planet of the mind.
11:07:19 Mercury is how we communicate. It's how we think. It's how we speak.
11:07:23 And, you know, communication is not just verbal.
11:07:26 You know, it takes many forms.
11:07:27 And so, you know,
11:07:35 And as we know, planet in sign,
11:07:38 the sign adds the ingredient or the additional ingredient to
11:07:41 what you know, what the planet is about. So, you know, it's.
11:07:45 It mercury is reasoning and analytical abilities as well.
11:07:49 So mercury.
11:07:50 Is connected to Gemini and to Virgo.
11:07:53 Now they might seem really different.
11:07:55 And they are because, you know, Mo.
11:08:03 Gemini is an intellectual S on the other air science being Libra and
11:08:07 Aquarius. And then Virgo is a mutable earth sign.
11:08:11 So the earth signs a Taurus.
11:08:13 Virgo and Capricorn. So, you know, at first glance,
11:08:16 Gemini and Virgo.
11:08:18 May seem different and okay. They are.
11:08:20 And.
11:08:32 But really getting into it. It's like Virgo is known for detail.
11:08:35 Gemini, you know,
11:08:36 is good with the smaller stuff and a level of detail.
11:08:39 So that's the commonality between Gemini and Virgo and what brings
11:08:42 them together with the rulership of mercury.
11:08:45 You know, mercury, you know,
11:08:47 the mythology of mercury is mercury was messenger of the gods.
11:08:51 So mercury is the closest planet to the sun.
11:08:59 And it's never more than 28 degrees away from the sun.
11:09:03 And the cycle of mercury is very, you know, is very short. So,
11:09:06 you know, the connection between Gemini and Virgo being ruled by
11:09:10 mercury.
11:09:11 You know, very, very good with detail. Very quick.
11:09:14 They're both mutable signs. That's the other commonality.
11:09:17 And very much about.
11:09:18 You know, being able to take on.
11:09:20 Multitask in some ways, Gemini more so.
11:09:23 Because it's an intellectual air sign.
11:09:24 And with Virgo being the earth, some mutable earth sign.
11:09:38 It's very much about being more grounded with Virgo and being able to
11:09:42 sort of, you know, take,
11:09:44 take things on both being mutable signs in a more adaptable and
11:09:48 flexible way, which is the nature of mercury.
11:09:51 Next up we've got Venus.
11:09:53 So Venus is the planet of love and Venus rules,
11:09:56 Taurus and Libra.
11:09:58 Again, signs that are very different and even more different than
11:10:02 Gemini and Virgo with the connection to mercury, because.
11:10:06 With Venus, you've got tourists, which is a fixed birth sign.
11:10:10 And then on the other side of that, you've got laborer.
11:10:24 Which is a Cardinal air sign.
11:10:26 So there's no commonality between tourists and laborer and, you know,
11:10:29 in the Zodiac signs that are five or seven apart and
11:10:33 known as a queen Cox.
11:10:35 And so what that means is there's a fated.
11:10:37 Connection.
11:10:38 That brings these two signs together.
11:10:48 So I feel like I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here, but so,
11:10:51 so Venus planet of love and money rules, Taurus,
11:10:55 and laborer. So two very, very different sides,
11:10:58 but what brings them together or what,
11:11:00 what creates that commonality between tourists and laborer?
11:11:04 It's very much about, you know, the,
11:11:06 the love of beauty and harmony peace, loving, you know,
11:11:10 Excuse me.
11:11:11 Taurus is a very mellow sign.
11:11:12 And labor is known as the peacekeeper of the Zodiac.
11:11:15 Excuse me.
11:11:16 Is known as a peacekeeper of the Zodiac. So.
11:11:18 You know, the,
11:11:19 the commonality between two signs that are so different is their
11:11:23 ruling planet.
11:11:24 So when it comes to compatibility,
11:11:26 You know, if you,
11:11:27 if there is a relationship regardless of its romantic or otherwise,
11:11:30 Between a tourist and a Libra. The commonality here is Venus.
11:11:33 As the ruler of both tourists and laborer.
11:11:35 So, what that means is.
11:11:45 The commonality or the common goal or the shared goal between tourists
11:11:48 and laborer is venous or anything. That's, you know, Venus related.
11:11:52 And that's very much about beauty and the arts and a steady mix.
11:12:00 It's also love and romance. So, you know,
11:12:03 anything along those lines,
11:12:05 I've got some notes here because I didn't want to miss anything.
11:12:07 So I just want to, I'll be referring back to my notes.
11:12:09 Just to make sure I'm covering everything.
11:12:14 And I'm getting through this.
11:12:15 I sort of dived into this really fast because there never seems to be
11:12:18 enough time. So I,
11:12:19 I feel like I just want to make sure that I really do cover as much as
11:12:22 I can. And as I said,
11:12:23 For those of you that just joined us.

11:12:44 So, yes. So with, so with Venus to commonality here, or the,
11:12:47 the two planets at rules.
11:12:50 Tourists and labor and the commonality is beauty.
11:12:53 Art sustetic relationships.
11:12:55 Anything that's to do with mediation,
11:12:58 but really it's a really sweet mellow.
11:13:03 Vibe that Venus has. And that's what,
11:13:05 what could possibly join these two signs together?
11:13:22 Next up, we've got Mars now,
11:13:24 Mars and someone had asked me on another event this morning, you know,
11:13:28 women are from Venus. Men are from Mars. And what that means is,
11:13:31 you know, is the Venus is a feminine energy.
11:13:33 And Mars is a very masculine energy.
11:13:36 And so, you know, Mars rules, Aries and Scorpio.
11:13:39 And, you know,
11:13:41 what connects areas in Scorpio is the passion of Mars or the friction
11:13:44 or the masculinity. You know, I,
11:13:47 I say that Mars is the brave warrior.
11:13:50 Of the Zodiac. And so, you know, it fits really well with.
11:13:53 With both Aries and Scorpio, but in a very different way.
11:13:57 You know, Mars is I think, of the,
11:14:00 the fighter or the warrior.
11:14:15 And that goes really well with Aries. That's really obvious, you know,
11:14:18 it's this physical areas being, you know,
11:14:20 Cardinal fire sign. So it's very obvious and apparent,
11:14:24 like with Aries, the energy they're connected to mozzies,
11:14:26 what you see is what you get. Whereas Scorpio.
11:14:29 You know, there, there might be some question marks.
11:14:31 How does Scorpio connect to Mars?
11:14:33 You know, Scorpio is a strategist. And so Mars,
11:14:35 even though it's very physical and I keep doing this,
11:14:38 like as a spontaneous, just sort of dive in into a situation.
11:14:41 Scorpio will do that,
11:14:43 but mainly through emotions and then strategy.
11:14:46 So Scorpio,
11:14:47 the connection that Scorpio has to Mars is.
11:14:53 You know, it's, it's the general of the army,
11:14:56 whereas Aries is the soldier or the fighter of the army.
11:14:59 That's sort of like the best analogy I can give with,
11:15:01 with the Mars connection.
11:15:03 It ruling Aries and Scorpio.
11:15:05 So, you know, Scorpios are fixed.
11:15:07 Fixed water sign.
11:15:15 And then, you know, as I said, areas is just Cardinal fire side.
11:15:19 So it's very, you know,
11:15:20 Mars is very spontaneous and action
11:15:24 driven and, you know, brave and fearless.
11:15:31 You know, and on, on the shadow side of Mars, it's violence,
11:15:35 you know, it's violence and anger and rage. And when it's,
11:15:39 when that anger is filtered through a communication style,
11:15:42 it's sarcasm.
11:15:43 So, you know, and,
11:15:45 and then you can see touches of that with Scorpio as well.
11:15:48 So, you know, Scorpio is very, you know,
11:15:51 Scorpio is not what you see is what you get, you know,
11:15:54 it's the opposite of that. So,
11:16:16 You know, and the reason that Mars is connected to Scorpio as well.
11:16:20 And you know, now we say it's, it's,
11:16:21 it's co ruler or it's ancient ruler because, you know,
11:16:24 modern times Pluto is connected to Scorpio,
11:16:28 which I will get to when we get to Scorpio. But, you know,
11:16:31 it's connected to Pluto.
11:16:33 So as the modern ruler and Mars is the co ruler or the ancient ruler.
11:16:37 So then what happens is when we start to.
11:16:39 You know,
11:16:40 when it unfolds these planetary rulerships with the signs,
11:16:44 we start getting more depth to the sign. You know,
11:16:47 we there's characteristics of the sides, but once we start knowing.
11:16:51 More about the planet rule is of the signs.
11:16:54 There becomes a whole lot more depth and understanding to the signs,
11:16:57 you know, from our,
11:16:59 what we can see of the signs or what we know of the signs.
11:17:01 So, you know, the rulerships are extremely insightful.
11:17:04 You know when we're real, when we're reading a birth chart,
11:17:06 for example, because you know,
11:17:08 we'll see which planet rules, the ascendant.
11:17:15 Have a birth chart. And then we say, that's, that's the chart.
11:17:18 Ruler is, you know, the, the planet ruler of the ascendant. Again,
11:17:21 I'm getting ahead of myself, but it all sort of,
11:17:23 we're sort of putting the puzzle pieces together here because
11:17:26 astrology really does have a lot of puzzle pieces.
11:17:29 And so we have to break it down in bite sized pieces,
11:17:31 where we look at the smaller picture of what we're talking about,
11:17:34 you know, today, which is rulerships. But also there's a bigger,
11:17:37 the bigger picture that we need to see where these pieces fit.
11:17:40 So Mars.
11:17:44 You know, Mars being it's about desire and you know,
11:17:48 that that's what ties Scorpio in as well, because it's about it's,
11:17:51 it's passionate and it's desirous, you know, passion again, you know,
11:17:55 it's, it's.
11:17:56 Positive and not so positive, you know, when it comes to passion.
11:17:59 So it's like the things that we're enthusiastic about so we can see
11:18:03 that's an obvious fit with Aries, but Scorpio D.
11:18:06 You know, they'd sort of scratching your head thinking, well,
11:18:08 what's scopey I never gives anything away.
11:18:11 So there's just two very different.
11:18:13 Sides of Mars.
11:18:26 That we can see how it fits with these two signs areas in Scorpio
11:18:30 that are another quincunx as the same as
11:18:34 Taurus and Libra with Venus. So it's, it's fascinating that, you know,
11:18:37 Venus and Mars, the two relationship, planets, love and passion.
11:18:41 You know, Venus love. Mars is passion.
11:18:43 The, the two sides that each are connected to have this fated
11:18:47 quincunx aspect.
11:18:49 To each other.
11:18:50 So it's it it's,
11:18:51 it gets complex fast with astrology that's for sure. So, you know,
11:18:55 Venus planet of love, it's two signs.
11:19:00 They there there's needs to be an understanding that comes together
11:19:03 really for the, these planetary energies to flow. So with Mars,
11:19:07 with Aries and Scorpio,
11:19:09 You know, in a quincunx to each other,
11:19:10 it's very much about there's two different sides to these energies is
11:19:15 what it's saying.
11:19:16 Next up, we've got Jupiter.
11:19:20 Jupiter is, you know,
11:19:22 the planet of idealism, expansions, faith.
11:19:26 You know,
11:19:27 And on a superficial level, I say like a good fortune success.
11:19:34 You know, philosophy. And so it's,
11:19:37 it's modern. It rules in the modern day sense. Sagittarius.
11:19:41 But it also rules Pisces.
11:19:43 So, you know, Pisces.
11:19:45 And when I get to Pisces, I'll talk about that. But, you know, Pisces.
11:19:48 Is ruled by Jupiter it's ancient ruler is Jupiter.
11:20:04 So, you know, with Jupiter, you've got Sagittarius and Pisces,
11:20:08 but we don't really think much about that. You know,
11:20:10 it's more because it's modern day.
11:20:12 So we think Jupiter is connected to Sagittarius.
11:20:14 That makes sense because, you know, Sagittarius is the.
11:20:17 Seca the adventurer, the Explorer, the philosopher of the Zodiac,
11:20:21 you know, both Sagittarius and Jupiter are connected to.
11:20:25 Foreign places to education.
11:20:26 So basically we've got travel and education.
11:20:29 And, and so it's, you know,
11:20:32 it's fascinating that Jupiter is also the teacher.
11:20:34 And so it's about.
11:20:39 I'm going to come back to this word.
11:20:40 Expansion is a fantastic word for Jupiter and for
11:20:43 Sagittarius, because you know, both are connected to.
11:20:48 Broadening our horizons, expanding our worldview,
11:20:52 expanding our mind being open-minded, but you know,
11:20:56 on the.
11:20:57 On the shadow side of that.
11:20:59 We can be dogmatic, you know, like there is,
11:21:02 there is a level of dogma.
11:21:05 You know, on the shadow side, connected to Jupiter and Sagittarius,
11:21:09 you know, the, the shadow side of both.
11:21:11 Sagittarius and Jupiter.
11:21:15 Is about excess or extravagance or, you know,
11:21:19 being over confident because.
11:21:32 Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system. I mean,
11:21:36 we're not counting the sun here, but Jupiter out of the planets,
11:21:40 the technically the planets, you know, Jupiter is the largest planet.
11:21:43 So, you know, Jupiter in mythology was.
11:21:46 Was the God, he was God of the gods Zeus.
11:21:49 So, you know, he has to be the biggest. So that's, you know,
11:21:52 that's what comes about with Jupiter and Sagittarius.
11:21:56 You know, it's it's.
11:22:00 And the connection that Jupiter has to Pisces is the
11:22:04 reverence. You know, it's the river it's, it's,
11:22:06 it's the benevolent later. It's,
11:22:09 it's how we show compassion. You know, it's.
11:22:11 It's out.
11:22:12 Compassionate.
11:22:13 Benevolent side and it's it's hope and idealism and
11:22:17 optimism that comes with Jupiter.
11:22:22 And that's why, you know, planet of luck and good fortune Sagittarius.
11:22:26 The connection that Sagittarius has to Jupiter is very much about
11:22:29 happy. Go lucky.
11:22:30 You know, and Sagittarius a symbol of Sagittarius is the central.
11:22:41 And so the mythology of the centers is they were the scholars of,
11:22:45 you know, of the time and they were the athletes and the scholars,
11:22:49 but they also liked to have a good time and they liked to party.
11:22:52 So that's the connection.
11:22:53 This, the mythology around the centers and then the connection.
11:22:57 Heads to Jupiter who also liked to have a good time as many of the
11:23:01 gods deed. And then the shadow side of that, the excess.
11:23:05 You know, the mythology of Jupiter being excessive in,
11:23:08 in so many areas of his life.
11:23:11 So that's Jupiter connected to Sagittarius and Pisces. Oh.
11:23:15 And the connection that Sagittarius and Pisces.
11:23:17 Have to each other is similar to Mercury's signs that it
11:23:21 rules.
11:23:23 Both being mutable. So mercury of course, rules,
11:23:26 immutable signs of Gemini and Virgo.
11:23:35 And Jupiter rules,
11:23:37 the mutable signs of Sagittarius and Pisces. So,
11:23:40 you know, there's this adaptability, this flexibility,
11:23:43 it's a go with the flow.
11:23:46 Energy. That's connected to Jupiter, you know,
11:23:49 with Sagittarius and Pisces. So it's a go with the flow.
11:23:52 It's an adaptability.
11:23:54 And it's very much about we, we can.
11:24:07 We can make the changes we need based off the information we're
11:24:10 getting, because you know, Jupiter, as I said,
11:24:13 it's about broadening our horizons, expanding our mindset.
11:24:16 And so to be able to do that,
11:24:18 we really do need to be flexible and adaptable.
11:24:25 You know, if Jupiter was connected to the fixed signs or a fixed sign,
11:24:28 it wouldn't be so broad-minded,
11:24:30 it wouldn't be so philosophical. So it tells us that,
11:24:35 you know, for, for a philosophical approach,
11:24:37 we do need to be very open-minded.
11:24:39 To such things.
11:24:40 And, and of course these, you know,
11:24:41 a lot of things connected to concepts or idealism connected to.
11:24:50 Full philosophical ideals or, or, you know,
11:24:54 thoughts.
11:24:56 We do need to have that adaptability and flexibility. So it does make,
11:25:00 does make good sense that Sagittarius and then hence Pisces are
11:25:03 connected to Jupiter.
11:25:04 And then next up we've got Saturn.
11:25:06 So satin has just.
11:25:07 It.
11:25:09 It's the planet.
11:25:10 I'm sort of stumbling over my words because every time I say sad and I
11:25:13 just want to say karma or karmic or.
11:25:15 You know, and it always sounds negative and it's not,
11:25:17 it's not really negative in the sense of karma.
11:25:21 Okay.
11:25:26 I should start again with that one.
11:25:28 So sadden Saturn is the planet of karma and okay.
11:25:31 Karma means you reap what you,
11:25:33 so I really was trying to avoid starting with that.
11:25:35 But Saturn is about responsibility. It's about.
11:25:38 Discipline and caution and restraint and.
11:25:41 You know, those are not words that anybody thinks are great. Yay.
11:25:44 You know, that sounds.
11:25:45 That sounds like something I want to do.
11:26:01 Yeah, Jupiter is more along the lines of, oh yay. Great.
11:26:04 That's something I want to do, you know,
11:26:05 party and have a good time and be really excessive and expand my mind
11:26:09 and travel. And you know, that, that sounds like a lot of fun.
11:26:11 Of course that's Jupiter Saturn on the other hand, not, not so much.
11:26:16 So I was.
11:26:17 I was really trying to avoid starting with that, but it's,
11:26:19 it actually is in my mind out avoidable.
11:26:21 So saddens about responsibility and, you know,
11:26:23 sadden in mythology was the father of.
11:26:28 Was the father of Jupiter. So, you know,
11:26:31 there's a hierarchy going on here with the planets as well. So,
11:26:34 you know, sat in is about self-discipline.
11:26:36 That does not sound like fun at all to anyone really, but here's.
11:26:40 Here's the thing that we do sometimes forget about with Saturn.
11:26:43 It's like, you know, if you put in the hard work,
11:26:46 if you take care of business, if you put in the elbow grease,
11:26:49 The rewards will come,
11:26:50 but you can't have that expectation with Saturn.
11:26:56 So then if you have expectations or entitlement around Saturn,
11:26:59 it's just not happening.
11:27:00 So the connection that sat in has the modern day.
11:27:03 Connection that sat in has, is to Capricorn.
11:27:05 So, if you're fortunate enough to have a Capricorn in your life,
11:27:08 you're a Capricorn or you understand.
11:27:09 You know, the personality or the traits of Capricorn,
11:27:11 it makes perfect sense.
11:27:13 You know, Capricorn is all about longterm ambition.
11:27:15 You know, the symbol of Capricorn is the mountain goat.
11:27:26 And so the mountain goat puts, you know, one,
11:27:28 one little baby foot in front of the other, and it's,
11:27:30 it's actually not even the mountain goat. It's the Sego,

11:28:14 just to add to the determination and the
11:28:17 complexity and the, you know, ambition,
11:28:21 I think is the fitting word for Capricorn.
11:28:24 And then that's the connection to sadden.
11:28:26 But here's the kicker sat and actually rules another,
11:28:29 another Zodiac sign.
11:28:30 Which is really surprising in one sense,
11:28:33 but not in another sadden is also connected to Aquarius.
11:28:36 And it just, it, it always makes me smile because.
11:28:39 You know, Aquarius is known as the radical,
11:28:42 the futuristic free thinking,
11:28:45 visionary genius of the Zodiac.
11:28:54 How on earth is that connected to sadden? It just, I mean, it's,
11:28:57 it's obvious that Saturn and Capricorn are a great match.
11:29:00 It's obvious. They're so connected. They're so similar.
11:29:04 It just seems so perfect. And then you've got the Aquarius.
11:29:07 And that is the dichotomy of Aquarius.
11:29:10 You know, that's the complexity and the confusion of Aquarius,
11:29:13 which Aquarius likes, you know, Aquarius doesn't want to be easy.
11:29:17 Easy to work out or easy to read. So Aquarius,
11:29:21 which I'll talk about straight after Capricorn. I mean, excuse me,
11:29:23 soon when I get to Uranus, which is straight after satin.
11:29:27 So, you know, with Aquarius,
11:29:29 Aquarius is connected to Saturn and Uranus.
11:29:32 Two completely different energies.
11:29:34 And so that's what makes up.
11:29:36 You know, Aquarius and the confusion around Aquarius.
11:29:39 And I think I talked about this.
11:29:40 When I talked about the signs a few lessons ago.
11:29:58 You know, the symbol of Aquarius is the water bearer,
11:30:00 but it's actually an ASI. And so here we have, okay.
11:30:03 It's obvious that, you know, Aquarius is connected to Uranus,
11:30:06 but not many know that it's also a co ruled by Saturn.
11:30:09 So the ancient ruler of Aquarius is satin.
11:30:13 So,
11:30:14 so what that means is satin is a very stable,
11:30:18 steady, practical, grounded influence.
11:30:21 It can be quite rigid.
11:30:23 It can be quite narrow minded.
11:30:25 It's conservative energy of Saturn.
11:30:28 So, you know,
11:30:29 that fits again with Capricorn known as a conservative sign,
11:30:33 but Aquarius being the radical free thinker that doesn't feel like
11:30:36 it's a fit with Saturn.
11:30:38 But that's the shadow side of Aquarius, you know, like.
11:30:41 Even though Aquarius is this free thinking air sign that's about the
11:30:44 future.
11:30:46 You know, we can't have the future unless we have the past.
11:30:52 So we, you know, and that's,
11:30:54 everything is connected and astrology really has been a great teacher,
11:30:57 you know, for that too, to know that.
11:31:00 Everything is connected. We are all connected,
11:31:02 not just because we're human, but you know, we're connected.
11:31:10 No with yes, the human element, obviously, but you know,
11:31:13 we are connected and we understand how we're connected in,
11:31:16 in our different ways or, or the different.
11:31:18 Ingredients that we bring, you know,
11:31:20 through the understanding of those planetary influences.
11:31:23 So there is a responsibility.
11:31:44 You know,
11:31:45 that's a big keyword with Saturn and the responsibility is an obvious
11:31:49 one with Capricorn, but also Aquarius, you know,
11:31:52 but Aquarius in a very different way,
11:31:54 Aquarius is not a traditional sign,
11:31:56 but because of its connection to sadden,
11:31:59 there is an element of tradition there,
11:32:01 as much as they wouldn't want us to know that about them.
11:32:03 You know, Aquarius is not Aquarius is, is sine.
11:32:07 It's not what you see is what you get. Hang on that didn't come out.
11:32:09 Right. But it's not.
11:32:11 It's what you see is what you get is not.
11:32:13 The motto for Aquarius is probably the better way to say it.
11:32:16 It's like they want to show something that's different radical and
11:32:20 you know, would not like us to see that Saturn.
11:32:22 Tourney inside of Aquarius. So, you know,
11:32:25 Saturn is also about patients in perseverance and Aquarius.
11:32:29 Being a fixed sign is all about patience and perseverance.
11:32:32 Whereas Capricorn connected to Saturn.
11:32:35 Capricorn is a Cardinal sign.
11:32:36 And so, you know, Cardinal signs are the initiators or the leaders.
11:32:40 Now leader is a key word here as well with satin.
11:32:42 You know, it's about.
11:32:43 You know, sadden is not just about comma.
11:32:46 Comma is connected to time.
11:32:48 So Saturn is Lord of time.
11:32:55 So, you know, that that's also the connection there with Capricorn,
11:32:59 because, you know, as I said,
11:33:00 the symbol is a Sego from the bottom of the ocean to the top of the
11:33:03 mountain.
11:33:04 That takes time.
11:33:05 That's not an overnight process going from the bottom of the ocean to
11:33:08 the top of the mountain.
11:33:09 So, you know, that all wraps in into time as well.
11:33:13 And, and Aquarius bang, a fixed sign, fixed signs.
11:33:16 Supposedly patient.
11:33:20 I say, supposedly because you know, Leo being a fire sign,
11:33:23 the fire signs are not really that patient.
11:33:25 But, you know, there is patients there because of that.
11:33:28 Commonality of being fixed.
11:33:29 You know, wanting to see something through to the end.
11:33:40 And so that's, that's Saturn and that's,
11:33:42 it's a very different signs that it's connected to.
11:33:46 Now, next up we have Uranus.
11:33:48 And Uranus.
11:33:49 Is I'll have to snaze. Oh my goodness.
11:33:52 And it won't come out anyway.
11:33:56 So Uranus is Uranus is the planet of the radical,
11:34:00 it's the planet of the progressive.
11:34:03 It's you know, the planet that's different.
11:34:05 It's the planet of the unexpected.
11:34:08 You know, Uranus is the planet of.
11:34:16 Pluto, the planet of change. Uranus is also the planet of change,
11:34:19 but in very different ways, you know, you're in a species.
11:34:28 It's the awakener like it jolts us, it shakes us.
11:34:32 It brings things to life in a very sudden and
11:34:35 unexpected way.
11:34:36 You know, Uranus is about independence.
11:34:42 It's about non-conforming and so Uranus is
11:34:46 connected to Aquarius.
11:34:48 Now I just said that Aquarius is connected also to Saturn.
11:34:50 So Saturn and Uranus, two completely different energies.
11:34:54 You know,
11:34:55 satin is this heavy conservative?
11:35:00 You know, tried and true the way things have always been done.
11:35:03 Uranus wants to break out of the mold.
11:35:08 And, you know, radically go, you know,
11:35:11 ahead in a very unconventional way. That's never been done before.
11:35:15 So, you know, Uranus bank connected to Aquarius,
11:35:18 it just makes perfect sense. You.
11:35:19 You know, from that point of view,
11:35:21 Uranus can be quite impulsive.
11:35:38 Aquarius in one sense, but,
11:35:40 but it is a fixed sign connected to sadden.
11:35:42 So it's not as impulsive as what it would like to be
11:35:46 seen as you know, Uranus is the reformer.
11:35:50 Uranus is, you know,
11:35:53 It'll take things away.
11:35:54 Suddenly it's connected to volcanoes and earthquakes.
11:36:10 So things that happen quickly, Uranus is like a rollercoaster,
11:36:14 you know, it's very up and down and we can't predict it.
11:36:17 So that's why it's a very volatile type of energy, you know, it's,
11:36:21 it's, you know, it's, it's restless and you know,
11:36:25 also the commonality he is, you know,
11:36:28 Aquarius is the sign of friendship.
11:36:31 Or it's a sign of acquaintance.
11:36:32 So, you know, Aquarius is very much about.
11:36:35 P2P, you know, it's, it's, we're all connected. We're all human.
11:36:38 We are all one. It's a very Aquarian Pisces, sort of a motto.
11:36:48 So,
11:36:49 so the involvement of Uranus here is very much about,
11:36:53 you know, it's, it's peer to peer,
11:36:55 but in a way that might be very different, you know,
11:36:57 Aquarius and Uranus rule technology and
11:37:01 science. And, you know, there's, there's a lot of talk about, well,
11:37:04 we, in the age of Aquarius right now,
11:37:06 You know,
11:37:07 and it's not an overnight thing because ages take thousands and
11:37:10 thousands of years, you know, 2000 years.
11:37:12 And then the cycle is about 26,000 years for,
11:37:15 for the cycle of an age. So an age last 2000 years,
11:37:18 Ages moved backwards. So, you know,
11:37:20 we're coming out of the age of Pisces and we're, you know,
11:37:23 moving into the age of Aquarius.
11:37:25 There's there's all different views on when it officially starts or
11:37:28 when it, you know, when we come about.
11:37:34 You know, it might be safe to say with the turn of the century,
11:37:37 the year 2000,
11:37:38 we started moving into the age of Aquarius because of these
11:37:41 technological breakthroughs, you know,
11:37:44 with the internet and.
11:37:46 What's been coming about. And then of course, social networks.
11:37:55 You know, th they've only come about this century.
11:37:57 They weren't around in the nineties and that's very much about peer to
11:38:00 peer. That's very Aquarian. So it might be safe to say, yeah,
11:38:03 we're in the age of Aquarius in the more that we move into it,
11:38:06 because it is a 2000 year, you know, event.
11:38:09 And age that the more we move into it,
11:38:11 the more that we're going to experience more of these
11:38:15 Aquarius slash Uranus and the practicality of satin
11:38:18 coming about with the age of Aquarius.
11:38:20 So, you know,
11:38:21 so that's the connection here between Aquarius and Uranus.
11:38:25 It's a very progressive energy.
11:38:27 Next up we've got Neptune. And so Neptune.
11:38:38 Is connected to Pisces. And, you know,
11:38:41 Neptune has come about is the planetary ruler of Pisces
11:38:45 these past few hundred years because of technology.
11:38:48 So previously Pisces was connected to Jupiter.
11:38:50 Until Neptune was discovered. So, you know,
11:38:53 this is all about the theory.
11:38:55 You know, it's things that are intangible.
11:38:57 It's the things that are non-material, you know,
11:39:00 Pisces is about the divine. It's about.
11:39:08 Spirituality it's creativity.
11:39:11 It's anything new musical it's you know,
11:39:14 it's very much it's, it's emotional,
11:39:18 it's care. It's compassion.
11:39:26 So that's the connection between Neptune and Pisces. That's why,
11:39:30 you know, there, you know, Neptune is the ruler of Pisces, you know,
11:39:34 for that reason, it's very mystique. It's psychic,
11:39:38 it's intuitive, but on the shadow side of.
11:39:40 On the shadow side of Neptune. It's very much a bit.
11:39:43 It's illusion.
11:39:45 It, you know, Neptune's very illusional or delusional.
11:39:48 It's the things that are not true. It's, you know,
11:39:51 I think of the glamor of Hollywood.
11:39:54 You know, there's a facade, there's a Mirage around that.
11:40:02 So, you know, it's the things that we wanted to be.
11:40:05 We want to see the good, we want to wear our rose colored glasses.
11:40:08 And that's the connection to Neptune in Pisces. You know,
11:40:10 Pisces can be like that.
11:40:24 You know,
11:40:26 the glass is half full when really there might not be anything in the
11:40:29 glass at all.
11:40:30 So we want to see the beauty of things and that's where Neptune in
11:40:33 Pisces, how they are connected. It's like, we want to be inspired.
11:40:37 We want to aspire to certain things,
11:40:40 but then we know the shadow side of Hollywood. What happens there?
11:40:44 You know, and so that's, that's the reality of, you know, the,
11:40:48 the gorgeous, beautiful side, the glamorous side of Neptune,
11:40:51 and then Pisces.
11:40:53 It's it can be quite abstract.
11:40:54 And so the connection with Neptune in Pisces. So there comes,
11:40:57 you know,
11:40:58 more insight and more depth to do with Neptune and Pisces.
11:41:02 And then finally, before I move on to deacons,
11:41:05 Is Pluto.
11:41:06 And so Pluto is yes,
11:41:09 astrologist still classified Pluto as a planet.
11:41:11 We know it got demoted, which I thought was.
11:41:14 Asking, we're asking for trouble demoting Pluto,
11:41:16 but it hasn't been as bad as what a chord, I guess.
11:41:23 The Pluto is the planet of change.
11:41:24 And I feel like I always diminish the energy of Pluto when I just use
11:41:27 the word change.
11:41:29 It doesn't describe really the intensity than the nuclear energy of
11:41:33 Pluto.
11:41:52 You know,
11:41:53 the mythology of Pluto is Lord of the underworld or ruler of the
11:41:57 underworld.
11:41:58 And so what it means is that we sometimes have to get to the bottom
11:42:02 before we can come back up to the top,
11:42:03 we have to experience what we don't want before we really know what we
11:42:07 do want or appreciate what we have because we've been through the
11:42:10 worst. And so, you know, Pluto is the great transformer.
11:42:14 It's the planet of change. It's, you know, connected to Scorpio.
11:42:17 PO as it's Pluto is Scorpios modern day ruler.
11:42:20 And so, and of course, Scorpio it's agent roller is Mars. So look,
11:42:24 look there at Scorpio.
11:42:25 That'll give you some insight there that the two planets connected to
11:42:29 Scorpio and Mars and Pluto and jeez.
11:42:31 That's pretty intense.
11:42:32 You know, that'll give you some insight into what Scorpio is about.
11:42:35 You know, Mars being the warrior in Pluto, being the ruler of hell.
11:42:38 So, you know,
11:42:39 And, and it comes back to, you know, with Scorpio.
11:42:41 It's very much about Scorpio.
11:42:44 Throughout their life.
11:42:45 Many Scorpios will go through a complete change in transition. Many.
11:42:49 As, as a lot of us have.
11:42:50 You know, hit the bottom before we have to come back up,
11:42:52 we've had to experience the darkness.

11:53:45 the quick formula to get to this point is you take the opposite
11:53:49 sign. So Mars loves Aries and
11:53:53 Scorpio.
11:53:54 And Mars.
11:53:55 Doesn't like Libra and Taurus.
11:53:58 So just take the opposite side and then you've sort of got it worked
11:54:01 out that's that's the quick and easy way to do it.
11:54:03 So all really.
11:54:05 The easiest way is just to remember what's what signs the planet's
11:54:09 like.
11:54:10 And then you'll know the opposite side. The planet doesn't like is,
11:54:13 is the easiest way.
11:54:14 So let's do Venus. So Venus likes tourists and laborer.
11:54:17 It's other favorite sign is Pisces.
11:54:22 And so the opposite sides of these. So Venus, Venus,
11:54:26 doesn't like Scorpio.
11:54:43 Venus. Doesn't like Aries and Venus. Doesn't like Virgo.
11:54:47 So then that's how you work it out.
11:54:49 And it's interesting because if you look at Venus and Mars, you know,
11:54:52 Venus, Venus loves Taurus and Libra,
11:54:55 and it doesn't like the opposite signs of Scorpio and Aries.
11:55:02 And they are the favorite signs of Mars.
11:55:04 So that's why you've got this whole, you know, Venus is love.
11:55:07 Mars is passion. Venus is female. Mars is masculine.
11:55:10 And so that's why you've got this flow. And you know, this,
11:55:13 this opposite energy of Venus and Mars and the signs that they're in.
11:55:16 So let's do another one. Let's do mercury.
11:55:18 So in mercury loves Gemini and Virgo.
11:55:21 And so mercury.
11:55:23 Also likes Aquarius. And so mercury doesn't like the opposite sides,
11:55:27 opposite those signs. So mercury.
11:55:29 Doesn't like Sagittarius. It doesn't like Pisces,
11:55:33 especially. And Leo.
11:55:41 So, you know, there's,
11:55:43 there's a branch of astrology that really looked at medieval
11:55:46 astrology and they calculated, you know,
11:55:50 planet in science, similar to what we're talking about today.
11:55:52 You know, rulerships and planets being strong and weak,
11:55:55 depending on what side they're in.
11:55:57 And what they found was mercury in Pisces.
11:56:10 Is the weakest of all planetary placements. So in mercury, you know,
11:56:13 it's an intellectual energy, whereas Pisces is emotional.
11:56:16 So those two don't go well together at all.
11:56:18 So when you look at the table, you know, within this lesson, that's,
11:56:22 that's what this is. And if you have, and I'm looking down now at it,
11:56:25 And it's like, if you look at the table here, it will explain.
11:56:28 And then you'll start to see the pattern here of the opposite.
11:56:31 You know, these opposite.
11:56:32 Signs and how the planets and I, I say it tongue in cheek,
11:56:36 jokingly cutesy funny, but you know,
11:56:39 planets have their favorite signs and their least favorite signs,
11:56:41 but it's true.
11:56:42 You know, planets do well.
11:56:44 When they're matched up with matching energies of the signs.
11:56:47 Example again, Mars.
11:56:49 FA, you know, great example.
11:56:50 But Mars is this, you know, warrior spontaneous.
11:56:54 Competitive.
11:56:55 Energy.
11:57:03 And it does well with Aries. I mean,
11:57:05 areas is that same type of energy. So it's, it's like, like attracts,
11:57:08 like, you know,
11:57:09 we attract similarities and so the planets do the same thing.
11:57:12 Or we do the same thing as the planets, but I won't get into that now.
11:57:24 So it's, it's like, like attracts, like, you know,
11:57:27 similar characteristics.
11:57:28 So that that's an easy way to know if the planets are happy or not
11:57:32 happy is if we see, you know,
11:57:34 what signs they're coupled up with,
11:57:37 and this table is actually quite insightful.
11:57:39 So, so for example, you know, when a planet is in a sign,
11:57:42 And say it's by transit,
11:57:44 which means how it's influencing us now.
11:57:47 If the planet is in a sign, it doesn't like.
11:57:55 It does,
11:57:57 it does create more of a challenge and then a planet in a sign.
11:58:01 It doesn't like, and then it's,
11:58:02 it's affecting us by a hard angle to our natal chart.
11:58:06 Then there's a sort of a double dose of something needs to be overcome
11:58:09 or understood.
11:58:10 You know, for the current energy or what have you.
11:58:12 Opposite applies. You know, when Mars is in Aries and it's,
11:58:15 it's forming a really nice trying to our Leo sun.
11:58:18 Then there's a double dose of, you know,
11:58:21 like a can do sort of an energy. So we don't just read.
11:58:25 You know, Mercury's in Gemini now are great, but you know,
11:58:28 it's hooking into our own planet really well, or really nicely.
11:58:31 Then it's sort of like, you know, the gods are smiling on us.
11:58:33 Type of thing.
11:58:37 You know, with positive energies.
11:58:38 So that's how we read rulerships co rulerships.
11:58:42 Deacon's extremely insightful.
11:58:44 Dignities disabilities.
11:58:45 So planets, you know, really can be very supported.
11:58:53 By the sign they're in or not by the sign that they're in.
11:58:57 It just depends on, you know, the planet and the sign.
11:59:01 And, you know, even though.
11:59:04 For example, satin is, as I said,
11:59:07 it's the planet of calmer and restriction and responsibility and
11:59:10 obligation.
11:59:25 But when we can rise to the challenges of sadden,
11:59:28 the rewards will be much bigger and greater.
11:59:31 And so sadden when it's in Capricorn, you know,
11:59:35 does that mean that our challenges are bigger and our,
11:59:37 our rewards are greater. That depends on the individual birth chart.
11:59:41 You.
11:59:42 You know, it's it, it just depends on how the planets you.
11:59:45 For within our own natal charts.
11:59:47 For example.

11:02:11 I'm going to just get straight into it and start with the planets and
11:02:14 go in order of the planets all the way out.
11:02:17 From the sun all the way out through Pluto.
11:02:19 Talk about the asteroids. And then of course, Kyron.
11:02:22 So the planets astrology is the study of
11:02:26 the planets in their movement.
11:02:34 Around the sun.
11:02:36 Now the sun and moon we know are not technically planets,
11:02:39 but because astrology is so complex as it is.
11:02:53 You know,
11:02:54 there's always some sort of exception to a rule or what have you.
11:02:57 So this is the planetary exception to the rule.
11:03:00 Technically we know that the sun is a star and the moon is a satellite
11:03:03 to worth. And so just to make life easy,
11:03:06 we do call the sun and moon planets.
11:03:08 And, you know, the asteroids, they're not planets either.
11:03:11 Chiron's not a planet,
11:03:12 but I will address that word when we get to that in this lesson.
11:03:15 So, you know, just for the sake of ease the sun through Pluto.
11:03:18 Astrology is called planets and yes, Pluto is a planet.
11:03:21 According to astrologers. I know. According to astronomers,
11:03:24 it got demoted.
11:03:25 How many years ago was that it was a long time ago.
11:03:28 And I thought when that happened,
11:03:29 Here comes trouble.
11:03:39 Because Pluto is the most powerful planet of all.
11:03:42 And to actually demote the most powerful planet. I,
11:03:45 that just didn't seem like a good thing to me, but, you know,
11:03:48 astronomers and astrologers, they're just two different disciplines.
11:03:51 And, and two different professions I should say.
11:03:54 So we're all studying what's up there in the sky, but you know,
11:03:57 astrologists apply the mythology.
11:04:02 Give meaning or interpretation to the movement of the planets in their
11:04:06 orbit, around the sun. And so, you know,
11:04:09 people talk about astrology being about the stars or the signs,
11:04:12 or what have you.
11:04:13 But really it's the planets that bring the main ingredient.
11:04:17 You know, the, the biggest ingredient are, is the planets.
11:04:20 And so when we're born,
11:04:21 It's the moment of our first breath. So it's taking a snapshot.
11:04:25 Of the planets and their positions from our perspective here on earth
11:04:29 or where we're born.
11:04:31 Which which creates our unique blueprint or our astrological
11:04:35 identity.
11:04:36 And really sets the course for us as
11:04:40 individuals.
11:04:41 For, for our lifetime.
11:04:51 Here right now. So the planets,
11:04:54 what we look at from where we're born is what's signed the planet,
11:04:59 say in at the time of our birth now,
11:05:10 Nearly all of us know our sun sign, our star sign,
11:05:14 our Zodiac sign.
11:05:15 That's relatively easy to calculate.
11:05:18 And of course here's the disclaimer. As I just said,
11:05:20 there always seems to be some sort of disclaimer,
11:05:22 unless you're born right at the CASP and a cusp is.
11:05:25 You know that boundary, I guess,
11:05:27 between one sign and the next that just doesn't apply to the sun sign
11:05:31 that applies to any planet in any sign. So.
11:05:35 You know, most of us know our son's sign quite accurately.
11:05:38 And so the sun being, if you think about it up there,
11:05:42 and I kept saying up there in the sky, but I'm not doing it justice.
11:05:44 When I say that, if you think about the sun as.
11:05:46 You know, life force, it's our life force. It's what sustains.
11:05:58 Not just us here on earth, but our solar system, you know,
11:06:02 the Milky way, the center of that is the sun.
11:06:05 And so it's this mighty powerful force.
11:06:08 And so knowing what our Zodiac sign is,
11:06:10 or our sun sign is that's really core to.
11:06:13 You know, when we all first start off in astrology,
11:06:15 it's the fascination with our sun sign that really sort of
11:06:19 has this thinking about that.
11:06:20 You know,
11:06:21 thinking about more about our own personal development and what it all
11:06:25 means. So to speak.
11:06:27 So the sun, if we take, we take what's going on.
11:06:30 You know, the sun being a giant ball of,
11:06:33 of energy that sustains us here on earth.
11:06:37 As well as the other planets and then having all the planets.
11:06:49 Rotate around the sun is pretty powerful.
11:06:51 So even though astrologers will say, oh, astrology is,
11:06:55 and I say it all the time,
11:06:56 myself astrology is so much more than just.
11:07:00 Hang on in my recording this. Yes, I am. Thank goodness. I think I am.
11:07:03 Yes.
11:07:04 I just had to check that because last time I forgot.
11:07:06 Sort of started recording when it was,
11:07:08 when I was a little bit into it.
11:07:09 So the sun has,
11:07:11 this has all the planets moving around it.
11:07:14 So, you know, the sun is the center of our universe.
11:07:40 So the sun represents it's our individuality,
11:07:44 you know, it's, it's, it's our strength, it's our vitality,
11:07:47 it's our radiance.
11:07:49 And then when we see what sign it's in our Zodiac sign, you know,
11:07:52 that adds to the ingredient of our own uniqueness or our
11:07:56 own individuality. Now on, on the shadow side of that,
11:08:00 it's about ego. It's about power tripping and ego.
11:08:04 Go, you know,
11:08:05 when we're not fully utilizing our many blessings, you know,
11:08:09 because we can't all be sweetness and light and
11:08:13 happy, happy, joy, joy throughout life. That's just not realistic.
11:08:16 I mean, you know, depending on.
11:08:18 What we're dealing with and what, what what's in our astrology chart,
11:08:22 you know, we, we all have our moments. Absolutely.
11:08:25 So the shadow side of this radiant.
11:08:27 Shining a body of energy, the sun.
11:08:32 You know, that shadow side of that is egotism and tyrosine.
11:08:35 And, you know, in some ways, vanity, you know,
11:08:39 vanity is also a.
11:08:40 A shadow word I'd use for Venus. So, you know,
11:08:42 sometimes you might hear me crossover the same word.
11:08:46 Connecting it to different planets because not everything is just
11:08:49 black and white. You know, there are, you know,
11:08:53 crossovers here with astrology and also with life in general.
11:08:57 Next up, we have the moon and the moon is a satellite to earth.
11:09:01 Now the moon, as I said,
11:09:02 is not technically a planet and it's tiny by comparison to let's
11:09:06 say the sun.
11:09:20 You know, the sun is the biggest,
11:09:22 the biggest celestial body in our solar system by far,
11:09:26 it really is, you know, the next one being Jupiter.
11:09:28 And then you've got the opposite, which is the moon,
11:09:30 which is so tiny by comparison because the moon is,
11:09:34 let's say, I don't want to say an appendage to our earth.
11:09:36 But in some ways it sort of is like that it's this tiny little speckle
11:09:40 that, you know,
11:09:41 Controls the tides about earth and the water on our earth,
11:09:45 but you know, which,
11:09:47 which is also connected to emotions when it comes to the moon. So,
11:09:50 you know, and as an example, with a full moon,
11:09:53 You've got the sun and the moon opposite each other without earth in
11:09:56 the middle. So here's the sun.
11:09:58 Is this giant humongous Celeste,
11:10:01 your body opposite. This tiny little moon. That's that's.
11:10:04 That's the one satellite out earth has.
11:10:06 How can, how can they.
11:10:23 How can it be a fair fight in some ways, you know,
11:10:26 with this opposition of the sun and moon with the earth in the middle.
11:10:28 So that just shows you how powerful our moon is.
11:10:32 Our satellite is to the radiant mighty sun that
11:10:36 has all the other planets spinning around it,
11:10:39 even powerful Pluto. And yet this tiny little earth,
11:10:42 this tiny little moon that we have.
11:10:43 Goes to battle every month with the sun.
11:10:46 So you've got the sun and moon opposite each other.
11:10:48 In this tug of war with the full moon.
11:10:50 So the moon is about emotions and feelings and our daily routines and
11:10:54 how we nurture ourselves. And.
11:10:56 You know, if you think about the phases of the moon,
11:10:58 which we will talk about in more detail in a future lesson,
11:11:01 but the phases of the moon,
11:11:02 just show how changeable the emotions of the moon are.
11:11:06 And, you know, traditionally the sun was.
11:11:08 Connected to the father and the moon associated with the mother.
11:11:17 So many times with, when I look at an astrology chart,
11:11:21 depending on what I'm looking, what I'm looking at,
11:11:23 what I'm looking for and the forum of when I'm doing it,
11:11:26 I will look and see the sun and moon connections in somebody's natal
11:11:30 chart.
11:11:31 And that will straight away. Tell me.
11:11:33 The relationship that individuals, parents had,
11:11:36 not just to the individual, but to each other,
11:11:39 through the sun and moon.
11:11:47 So sun being father moon, being mother,
11:11:50 son being masculine,
11:11:51 the ultimate masculine energy and moon being the ultimate feminine
11:11:55 energy. So some father moon, mother,
11:11:58 and then how their relationship to each other affects the
11:12:01 individual.
11:12:02 And so, you know, we, we can look and see, you know,
11:12:05 if somebody has sun and moon in a really positive flowing trine.
11:12:09 In an individual's chart,
11:12:10 then we know that the parents really got on and they worked as a team
11:12:13 when it's a square or some other harder aspect.
11:12:35 Then the, the parental relationship to each other,
11:12:38 the mum and the dad, how they got on, or didn't get on,
11:12:41 really comes down through and affects the individual throughout their
11:12:45 life. Not just within their own relationships, but life in general,
11:12:49 I'm off on a tangent there with that, but that, that's just always,
11:12:52 that's just a little bit of,
11:12:53 a little bit of a tidbit information there with the sun and the moon
11:12:57 and how important the sun and.
11:12:58 Moon really are.
11:13:00 You know, sun is our, the core of who we are.
11:13:03 And moon is our emotions in our day-to-day life itself.
11:13:06 Also our instincts it's our.
11:13:08 I wouldn't say psychic ability.
11:13:09 I'd really connect that word more to Neptune, but it's our instincts.
11:13:13 It's it's.
11:13:14 It's you know, that what what's, what did they say?
11:13:16 Female intuition or a woman's intuition.
11:13:18 That's all connected to the moon.
11:13:19 And that's not to say that men do not have it. I'm just saying,
11:13:22 that's the saying that people use.
11:13:23 It's very, it.
11:13:25 And when we think of a full moon, you know,
11:13:27 we think of really big emotions and a new moon.
11:13:30 Is you guys can hear me, right?
11:13:32 Because I just got a message here that somebody can't hear me.
11:13:36 So I want to make sure I'm pretty sure that you can hear me.
11:13:38 If you just wouldn't mind letting me know.
11:13:40 Yes. Thank you for letting me know.
11:13:43 So,
11:13:44 so that's the sun and moon and the sun and moon really are the core.
11:13:51 You know, the core planets of what we look at, but of course,
11:13:55 you know, with the moon and knowing our moon sign.
11:13:57 You really need to know your time of birth.
11:14:00 Because without the time of birth, you.
11:14:01 If the moon is at the beginning of the sign or the end of the sign.
11:14:05 It really because it moves so fast.
11:14:11 An accurate birth time is really important to know what moon sign,
11:14:15 moon sign you are.
11:14:26 And then next up we've got mercury.
11:14:28 So mercury is the planet that's closest to
11:14:32 the sun and the mythology of mercury is messenger of the gods.
11:14:37 Now mercury is androgynous.
11:14:40 So I've just said that the sun is the ultimate masculine.
11:14:42 The moon is the ultimate and ultimate feminine and mercury is
11:14:45 androgynous.
11:14:49 So sometimes, you know,
11:14:51 you might see the acute C writers saying, oh, he blah, blah, blah.
11:14:55 But it's always, it's definitely an androgynous energy.
11:14:58 And so mercury being the messenger of the gods.
11:15:01 And the reason being it's the fastest moving planet.
11:15:04 Because it's the closest planet to the sun.
11:15:28 And so what that means is that mercury will never be more than 28
11:15:32 degrees away from the sun.
11:15:34 And so what that means is that mercury will always be in the same
11:15:38 sign as the sun or the sign before,
11:15:41 or the sign after. So for example, if you're an Aries,
11:15:44 then mercury will only ever be in Aries or Pisces or
11:15:48 tourists. So if you're a tourist, mercury,
11:15:51 Your,
11:15:52 your mercury will only ever be in tourist areas or Gemini the signs
11:15:56 before the sign after.
11:15:58 So mercury is the planet of communication.
11:16:01 Mercury is messenger of the gods. So mercury is,
11:16:05 you know, the symbol of mercury.
11:16:07 Is, and I want to say he, but also used the term,
11:16:10 the correct terminology,
11:16:11 the correct pronoun of they for mercury mercury has
11:16:15 wings on there.
11:16:17 Boots. And so that's what helps mercury move around so quickly.
11:16:20 You know, and oh, and I,
11:16:22 I really want to back up actually incite the signs that are connected
11:16:25 to the planets.
11:16:26 So with the sun it's Leo, the moon is cancer.
11:16:29 And with mercury.
11:16:31 The two signs associated with mercury, Gemini and Virgo,
11:16:34 which are very different energies, but very cerebral.
11:16:37 Of course the obvious one being Gemini,
11:16:39 being an air sign and the other air signs are labor and Aquarius.
11:16:42 We we know that the air signs are very intellectual and very
11:16:45 cerebral.
11:16:46 And then Virgo being an earth sign.
11:16:49 The other signs are tourists and Capricorn.
11:16:51 It it's, it's a little bit harder to understand.
11:17:09 Why on earth sign is connected to mercury planet of the mind and the
11:17:12 intellect, but, but the energy of Virgo is very much about,
11:17:16 you know, into detail,
11:17:18 into efficiency and thinking things through before taking action
11:17:21 and being an applying, applying a lot of myths.
11:17:25 Not just myth, methodology, but practicality.
11:17:27 To those practical thoughts.
11:17:29 So with mercury being connected to the
11:17:33 mind communication self-expression writing,
11:17:36 it's also connected to commerce.
11:17:56 Because you think about things that move really fast and, you know,
11:17:59 particularly nowadays online, you know, people are buying online,
11:18:02 given not just technology, but the circumstance of the world.
11:18:05 So it's like, you know, it's very much about, you know,
11:18:08 reasoning and the intellect and being quick witted and eloquent
11:18:12 and articulate. Now the,
11:18:15 the shadow side of mercury is very much about.
11:18:18 It can be indecision. It's very restless because it's fast moving,
11:18:22 you know? And there could be poor memory when, you know,
11:18:25 Nah,
11:18:26 natal mercury might be transiting by hard aspect
11:18:30 by an outer planet.
11:18:32 You know, and that's what, when we talk about,
11:18:33 we get into transits and the effects,
11:18:36 their transit means where the planets are now or,
11:18:39 or at any given time and how they may be affecting us. So, you know,
11:18:43 there there's a lot of nervousness on the shadow side of mercury.
11:18:51 Next up we've got Venus. Venus is the planet of love,
11:18:54 and it's also the planet of finance and
11:18:58 Venus is connected to Taurus and Libra.
11:19:02 And again, very different energies in some ways, but in other ways,
11:19:06 Similar because of the connection to their ruling planet. Now,
11:19:09 Taurus is connected to Venus.
11:19:16 Venus is the ruling planet of tourists. And so that's all about,
11:19:19 you know, sensuality and beauty and, you know, it's,
11:19:23 it's about love and it's about finance because, you know,
11:19:26 Taurus is one of the signs of money.
11:19:29 And then with Libra,
11:19:30 Libra is the sign of relationships and marriage and,
11:19:34 you know, contractual obligations. So that's the connection there.
11:19:38 To Venus being the planet of love and money and beauty and art
11:19:42 and social.
11:19:43 A social activity.
11:19:45 It's attraction. It's romance.
11:19:47 And it's also a very feminine planet.
11:20:11 So the two feminine planets are the moon and Venus,
11:20:14 all the other planets, of course, besides mercury being androgynous,
11:20:17 but all the other planets are masculine.
11:20:19 So we just have the moon and Venus as the feminine planets,
11:20:23 we're not talking about the asteroids, you know, they're all feminine,
11:20:25 but really with the main planets here, it's just the moon and Venus.
11:20:29 Everything else is masculine except mercury, which is androgynous.
11:20:31 But on the shadow side of Venus,
11:20:34 it's it can be very vain. You know, there's a vanity.
11:20:38 Around Venus, you know, also known as Aphrodite.
11:20:41 There's also, you know, laziness as well. It's,
11:20:45 it's an overindulgence.
11:20:46 Of sorts.
11:20:48 You know, when Venus is operating in the shadow side.
11:20:51 So that, that vanity, that laziness Venus is very,
11:20:54 you know, it's, it's.
11:20:56 And as I said before, we, we have our moments, you know,
11:20:58 throughout life, you know, some of us might not feel like,

11:21:05 So Venus is a very beautiful feminine,

11:21:14 And I'm thinking of I'm blanking on the name,
11:21:18 but the effort died. He, when she standing in the seashell, you know,
11:21:21 this beautiful flowing hair and this depiction of this.
11:21:24 Ultimate feminine woman. That's what Venus is about.
11:21:27 Is our love and our beauty and what we're attracted to.
11:21:48 And when you know, what, what Venus sign you have,
11:21:51 then you understand, you know,
11:21:54 what is it that you appreciate or what you might consider. Beautiful.
11:21:56 And then when you start going deeper into that, you know,
11:21:59 beyond knowing what sign your Venus is in and then how it connects to
11:22:03 the other planets. And then that starts, you know,
11:22:06 unfolding the blueprint of who we are.
11:22:08 Next up, we have Mars.
11:22:09 Mars is the God of war.
11:22:12 And Mars is very, very masculine.
11:22:16 It's our drive. It's our motivation. It's our passion.
11:22:19 It's our ambition. It's a very sexual energy.
11:22:22 So Venus and Mars.
11:22:30 Are the relationship planets,
11:22:32 because we've got Venus as the planet of love and Mars as the
11:22:37 planet of passion.
11:22:38 And so when I'm looking at compatibility,
11:22:41 when I'm looking at two natal charts for compatibility,
11:22:44 the first thing I look for are the connections between Venus and Mars.
11:22:48 With the two individuals, how do Venus and Mars connect?
11:22:52 How, how is the love and the passion in this relationship?
11:22:55 Do does Venus and Mars connect in a flowing way or is it
11:22:59 disconnected and, or not connected at all with Venus and Mars?
11:23:14 So Mars is associated with Aries and
11:23:18 Scorpio. And so again, very different energies,
11:23:22 but the connection there is Mars and Mars is
11:23:25 fearless. Mars is the warrior,
11:23:28 and I always say Aries being the first sign of the Zodiac that are
11:23:32 brave and fear, fearless leader Aries.
11:23:34 Is very much about leadership courage.
11:23:37 Boldness just rushing without a second thought.
11:23:40 That's the connection. That's, that's what Mars is about.
11:23:44 And that's how Aries is connected to Mars.
11:23:51 You know,
11:23:52 I think of Mars and Aries is our brave front
11:23:56 line. And I used to think firefighters, of course, there's more,
11:24:00 more of course firefighters, but now it does encompass more people,
11:24:04 you know, our health workers as well with what's going on,
11:24:06 our frontline workers. They.
11:24:09 That to me, that takes courage. So that's Aries, but typically,
11:24:12 you know,
11:24:13 With the tradition in the traditional sense of the word for Mars,
11:24:17 it's our firefighters, you know,
11:24:18 our first responders that are straight in there.
11:24:21 Without a second thought everyone else is running out of the building
11:24:24 and they're running in, you know, that that takes, you know,
11:24:27 a lot of Mars,
11:24:29 Aries type of energy to just go in there fearlessly.
11:24:32 You know, it's a dynamic energy. It's very, very passionate.
11:24:36 And I don't just mean in a sexual sense. I mean,
11:24:38 it's what we're passionate about. You know,
11:24:40 Mars is about what drives us.
11:24:43 What is it? What is our motivation? And I,
11:24:46 I used to say back in the day that if there was one point
11:24:49 in the natal birth chart,
11:25:11 To know that anything else that would be,
11:25:14 what sign is the individuals Mars in? You know,
11:25:18 so what is the mass sign of the individual?
11:25:20 If there was one thing only to know about the natal birth chart,
11:25:24 it would be someone's Mars sign, because that really tells you a lot.
11:25:28 It tells you what is the, what the motivation is for that individual.
11:25:31 What is the driver.
11:25:33 So Mars in Scorpio.
11:25:34 Now Mars in Scorpio is one of,
11:25:37 if not the most powerful placement of the Zodiac
11:25:41 Mars in Scorpio.
11:25:43 And Mars in Scorpio.
11:25:44 Scorpio is one of the power signs of the Zodiac.
11:25:48 You put that together with Mars and you have someone where
11:25:52 nothing will get in their way.
11:25:56 Th th the word determination comes to mind.
11:25:59 And so that's, that's the other side of Mars. It's this determination.
11:26:03 It's this, it's not just the brave, fearless,
11:26:06 bold warrior. It's like, nothing will stop.
11:26:10 Nothing will stop Mars, nothing.
11:26:12 You know, Mars, Mars has the courage,
11:26:14 but what Scott Mars is the Scorpio connection that Mars has to Scorpio

11:26:19 This the strategy, you know, Mars.

11:26:24 Without a second thought, but there is some strategies that there,
11:26:26 because of the connection.
11:26:28 It has to Scorpio, you know,
11:26:30 It's very much.
11:26:31 It's an enthusiastic energy it's and as I said,
11:26:36 it's very brave and bold and courageous.
11:26:44 And I always think of the movie gladiator with
11:26:48 Russell Crowe. To me,
11:26:49 that is the ultimate Mars energy is gladiator.
11:26:53 It's like that.
11:26:58 There's, there's not even room for era.
11:27:01 There's no room to be afraid. It's just, you know,
11:27:05 that that energy is just Mars all the way.
11:27:18 Now on the shadow side of Mars, it can be very destructive. You know,
11:27:22 when it's not being filtered or funneled correctly,
11:27:26 it can be very destructive. It's a very angry energy.
11:27:30 There, there is a low level of arrogance there. It can be.
11:27:37 You know, on broad or passions. I dunno if that's such a bad thing,
11:27:40 but, but it's the aggressor, the aggression and the anger.
11:27:44 That's the shadow side of Mars, but you know, not all,
11:27:47 not all anger is bad because if you put all those keywords
11:27:50 together for Mars, it's like,
11:27:52 It gets stuff done, you know,
11:27:54 like anger and uprising creates change.
11:27:58 So in the beginning it might be difficult.
11:28:18 A difficult energy,
11:28:20 but it really is all about making things move.
11:28:23 Mars is about movement, you know,
11:28:26 and from the area's point of view, it's action, it's physical action.
11:28:30 And then from the Scorpio point of view, it's emotion because,
11:28:32 you know, Scorpio is a water sign,
11:28:34 the other water signs being cancer and Pisces. So it's it's emotion,
11:28:38 but it's this strategy around that. So there is there,
11:28:42 even though you.
11:28:43 Mars just will be spontaneous, you know, from,
11:28:46 from that other point of view, the connection to Scorpio.
11:28:49 There is a little bit of thought there, you know, like prior training,
11:28:52 if I apply that to what I just said is the example of gladiator.
11:28:55 You know,
11:28:56 There has to be training to get to that point, you know?
11:28:59 So, you know, there's something to be said there. So with Mars,
11:29:02 back to Venus and Mars with compatibility.
11:29:04 You know, also with compatibility.
11:29:06 You know, I look at the sun and moon, but you know,
11:29:08 first up Venus and Mars.
11:29:09 Which is love and passion.
11:29:11 So in between the next planet is Jupiter,
11:29:14 but in between Mars and Jupiter is the asteroid belt.
11:29:19 But I will talk about the asteroids. After I talk about Pluto,
11:29:22 I want to do the planets first.
11:29:23 Then I'll talk about the asteroids and car on, but you know,
11:29:27 between Mars and Jupiter, we have the asteroid belt.
11:29:29 And so we have.
11:29:32 Countless asteroids in this asteroid belt between Mars and
11:29:37 Jupiter,
11:29:38 but there are four main asteroids that we will be
11:29:41 addressing today. And I'll do that at the end.
11:29:44 So next up we have Jupiter.
11:30:06 And Jupiter is the planet of luck and good fortune.
11:30:09 And Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system.
11:30:13 And Jupiter has rings as well as an eye.
11:30:16 And the color of Jupiter is an orangy white color from our point of
11:30:19 view here on earth. So, you know,
11:30:22 and Jupiter has the most moons and Jupiter is,
11:30:26 is God of the gods in ancient, Greek and Roman.
11:30:29 In mythology. So Jupiter is also known as Zeus.
11:30:32 And so Jupiter is the ruler. You know,
11:30:35 Jupiter is he's the guy.
11:30:37 So Jupiter is the planet of luck and good fortune hope and
11:30:41 optimism, philosophy.
11:30:43 Being able to see things from a higher point of view,
11:30:46 there's an idealism it's Jupiter has Jupiter is a
11:30:50 visionary, you know, Jupiter is steering the ship.
11:30:53 Jupiter can see where we're going.
11:30:54 You know, Jupiter is also connected to.
11:30:56 In some ways, religion, you.
11:31:02 That crosses over with Neptune as well. You know,
11:31:05 there's a benevolence because Jupiter is our ultimate leader,
11:31:08 you know, Zeus God of the gods. And so, you know, w with,
11:31:11 with a good leader, there's always been Everlance, you know,
11:31:14 there's always a reverence connected.
11:31:17 To, you know, a good leader, you know,
11:31:20 there's a respect for the law. There's, you know,
11:31:23 there's success connected to Jupiter. You know,
11:31:26 we don't just say Jupiter is a planet of luck and good fortune.
11:31:36 There has to be a level of success there as well. And also,
11:31:39 you know, a philosophy and Jupiter is connected or is the ruler of
11:31:43 Sagittarius.
11:31:44 And so Sagittarius is the sign of the truth.
11:31:47 And so that's, that's the connection there to Jupiter.
11:31:50 The truth, regardless of let's just say who's truth. That is,
11:31:53 but it's the truth. Nonetheless, it's somebodies truth.
11:31:55 So.
11:32:05 You know, Jupiter is also on the shadow side.
11:32:08 It's about being overconfident or overinflated
11:32:12 or over optimistic or, you know,
11:32:15 extravagant or excessive.
11:32:17 So that's the shadows side of Jupiter. And, you know,
11:32:21 there there's also.
11:32:22 You know, this Outlaws sort of energy with Jupiter when it's
11:32:26 operating in the shadow side.
11:32:28 It's also about risk taking and gambling.
11:32:32 I'll use the word gambling on the shadow side of Jupiter.
11:32:35 You know, we all need to take risks of some sort throughout life,
11:32:39 but it's like,
11:32:40 Are they smart risks or are they not so smart risks? Well,
11:32:43 it depends on the outcome.
11:32:54 I would say so if the outcome is successful, of course it was a great,
11:32:57 it was a great risk to take. It was a calculated risk, of course.
11:33:00 So it just depends on the outcome. So, you know,
11:33:03 it's so Jupiter and Sagittarius are connected with connected to risk
11:33:07 taking and.
11:33:08 You know, also not just gambling and risk taking,
11:33:11 but it's also connected to sports because Sagittarius is a very
11:33:15 athletic sign as well. So we can connect Jupiter to that too.
11:33:19 Because of course the planets and the sides are very connected.
11:33:22 Have similar characteristics.
11:33:24 They're also connected to the various houses.
11:33:27 On the birth chart as well.
11:33:27 So there's this extravagance when it comes to Jupiter.
11:33:38 You know, and Jupiter being, you know,
11:33:40 operating in a sense where in,
11:33:43 in ancient Greek and Roman mythology is where we get the
11:33:46 interpretations from.
11:33:48 With regards to the astrology that we practice today.
11:33:50 So it's not just the calculation of the.
11:33:52 Planets moving around the sun. It's the interpretation.
11:33:56 So it's the calculation.
11:33:58 And then it's the interpretation of the planets moving around the sun.
11:34:02 And so that.
11:34:03 That interpretation comes from, you know, this ancient mythology.
11:34:08 And so the gods and so Jupiter or Zeus being God of the gods.
11:34:12 Next up, we have satin.
11:34:17 And satin and I'm smiling because if you don't smile,
11:34:20 it's sort of like, if you don't laugh, you cry with satin.
11:34:22 And I don't want to sound.
11:34:35 That that came out wrong,
11:34:36 but Saturn is Lord of karma and sadden is the
11:34:40 father of Jupiter.
11:34:41 And so Saturn is all about karma.
11:34:44 And so what do I mean by that? So karma is.
11:34:47 Responsibility karma is taking care of business.
11:34:51 Karma is you reap what you sow.
11:34:54 You will be rewarded if you've put the effort in,
11:34:57 but you can't expect the reward and you can't expect it on your own
11:35:01 timeframe.
11:35:06 You know, satin is Lord of time.
11:35:08 Satin is the timekeeper and that's all tied into karma. You know,
11:35:12 karma is about time. Comma is about.
11:35:16 You know, the things that come back to us, you know,
11:35:18 Saturn is connected to Capricorn.
11:35:24 And so it's also connected to Aquarius,
11:35:27 which sounds really odd for a lot of people.
11:35:30 And so what that means is that, you know, Saturn is about.
11:35:39 Responsibility, discipline obligation,
11:35:42 duty rules, structure,
11:35:45 regulation, caution. It's about insurance.
11:35:49 It's about.
11:35:56 Systems and methods. And
11:35:59 did I say discipline? It's quite thrifty as well.
11:36:02 So a lot of those key words are connected to Capricorn.
11:36:05 You know, it's main sign.
11:36:08 Now it's also, as I said, connected to Aquarius,
11:36:11 and the reason being is because before technology and I'm talking
11:36:15 just telescopes, but with the human eye,
11:36:19 The furthest out we could see was to satin.
11:36:21 And so that's why some of the planets have two signs that the
11:36:26 planet rules or just one sign.
11:36:28 So with satin, the reason it has to is because.
11:36:38 You know, we, we could only see the furthest to sadden now, you know,
11:36:41 the modern, the modern outer planets, Uranus, Neptune,
11:36:45 and Pluto have been assigned signs.
11:36:47 And I'll talk about that when I get to those outer planets.
11:36:49 But basically with, with sadden,
11:36:52 it's connected to Capricorn and then secondary to
11:36:55 Aquarius.
11:36:56 And so that makes sense. Those keywords, I just said.
11:37:03 For Capricorn and Saturn, but with Aquarius,
11:37:06 that doesn't really make sense because Aquarius is modern day.
11:37:09 Ruler is Uranus and that's the planet of rebellion. And,
11:37:12 you know,
11:37:13 Being radical and different.
11:37:17 Whereas the opposite energy sounds like it's Saturn,
11:37:20 which is very responsible follow the rules,
11:37:22 the status quo it's conservative. So how can you have.
11:37:30 Aquarius being connected to Saturn on one side, which is, you know,
11:37:34 very conservative and then Uranus on the other side,
11:37:36 which is so radical.
11:37:38 And that is the dichotomy of Aquarius.
11:37:45 You know,
11:37:46 you have these two very conflicting energies and that's why query is,
11:37:49 is the most one,
11:37:50 or I should say one of the most misunder sides misunderstood sides of
11:37:54 the Zodiac,
11:37:55 because it has these two completely different planetary rulers.
11:37:58 I digress, but that always brings a smile to my face with that one,
11:38:01 not to mention with Aquarius. And I think I said this last time,
11:38:03 you know, its symbol is the water bearer, but it's an air sign.
11:38:06 And there you have it again.
11:38:07 So with, with.
11:38:08 With.
11:38:22 Satin back to satin, you know, the shadow.
11:38:24 It's like the key words that I used for Saturn and it's sort of like,
11:38:28 wait, there's a shadow side. Were those, weren't those words,
11:38:32 the shadow words that you're using. So with sadden,
11:38:35 it's very much about limitation and obstruction and.
11:38:39 You know,
11:38:40 There's a melancholy vibe to sat in it.
11:38:43 It can be very pessimistic as well because, you know,
11:38:45 think about the keywords I just use for satin, you know,
11:38:48 responsibility and discipline and obligation and, you know,
11:38:51 I feel like I'm doing this because there's such heavy words.
11:38:54 It's like, how much more can we take on, you know,
11:38:57 how much more can I take on? And that's what calmer is. It's like,
11:39:00 Karma will test us.
11:39:02 It'll test us and keep testing and challenging.
11:39:05 And we just think I can't take anymore. I can't take anymore.
11:39:07 And then it just keeps coming because it's a test. It's a test.
11:39:11 It's a test of strength.
11:39:13 And if we can.
11:39:18 Take on these giant challenges,
11:39:20 these common challenges that sadden has thrown at us.
11:39:24 And I'm talking just individually, not,
11:39:26 not even collectively with what's going on out there in the world,
11:39:29 but.
11:39:30 It's like we can step up and step up as hard as it is in as heavy as
11:39:33 the, the burden is from sadden. We can,
11:39:36 and we do over and over again in our lifetime.
11:39:39 We do constantly. And then.
11:39:41 The key word here for Saturn, you know,
11:39:43 without sounding all these negative keywords and whatever else it's
11:39:46 like.
11:39:50 You know,
11:39:52 what we're rewarded with and reward is a key word of satin.
11:39:55 You'd think it would be Jupiter because Jupiter being the planet of
11:39:58 luck and good fortune.
11:40:10 But it's actually sadden.
11:40:11 Sadden is the planet associated with the word reward because
11:40:15 the rewards are so great and so big when we can take
11:40:19 on or not even willingly take on.
11:40:21 But when we take on the challenges that, that,
11:40:23 that are comically given to us,
11:40:25 Or we agree to before we're incarnated, then we can,
11:40:28 we can manage to step up.
11:40:31 In the chain of evolvement. I know it sounds sort of strange, but we,
11:40:34 you know, as we evolve.
11:40:38 And, and earn these comic brownie points through sadden. You know,
11:40:42 we can, we can start to be rewarded and you know,
11:40:45 what patients is a view is a virtue that actually is.
11:40:53 That's one of the mottoes of Saturn patience is a virtue.
11:40:57 And I know it's like,
11:40:58 it's hard for a fireside to hear that area's Leo said that patience is
11:41:02 a virtue and that was made up by Saturn without a doubt in my mind.
11:41:05 So, you know, it's about concentration. It's about.
11:41:08 You know, it's about dealing with.
11:41:10 The circumstances where we've been given and rising above it.
11:41:14 And that's the calmer of Saturn.
11:41:26 And then between Saturn and Uranus, we have car on,
11:41:28 but I'm going to talk about car.
11:41:29 I'm going to talk about the asteroids at the end of this. So Kyron,
11:41:33 you know,
11:41:34 is not technically a planet and it's not technically an asteroid.
11:41:37 I tongue in cheek say planetoid, but that's just my own word.
11:41:40 So it gets lumped in with the, with the asteroids,
11:41:43 but it's sort of its own thing.
11:41:55 So with the planets Uranus. So we've got the three outer planets,
11:41:59 Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto,
11:42:01 and astrologists call those generational planets.
11:42:04 And so what that means is that, you know,
11:42:07 Uranus will stay in one sign for seven years.
11:42:10 And so its cycle is 84 years. So, you know, some of this.
11:42:14 We'll we'll go through a whole year and a cycle in our lifetime.
11:42:17 So you're in as soon as sign for seven years.
11:42:19 And Uranus is the planet of it's a planet of
11:42:23 rebellion and bang,
11:42:24 radical and inventive and technology and science.
11:42:32 You know, as I said before, the, the plant, excuse me,
11:42:34 the sign connected to Uranus is Aquarius. So it's very,
11:42:37 you know, it's, it's very much out of the box thinking, you know,
11:42:41 it's what we need to move forward into the future. You know,
11:42:44 Uranus is very scientific.
11:42:51 Very futuristic.
11:42:52 Whereas Saturn is about the past and being very conservative.
11:42:55 So Uranus is about originality.
11:42:58 It's a suddenness it's things that happen quickly that we
11:43:02 hadn't expected or prepared for.
11:43:04 And I'm thinking of volcanoes and earthquakes in particular.
11:43:07 Connected to Uranus.
11:43:09 Uranus is also, I've used this term a lot over the decades.
11:43:12 It's very much about a roller coaster, you know,
11:43:14 it's up and down and around and around.
11:43:32 And it can be very, very unexpected. You know,
11:43:35 when we are going through a Uranus transit or something you
11:43:39 reign in,
11:43:40 or we encounter a person who might be very Uranian in our life,
11:43:44 meaning someone we normally wouldn't deal with or come up against or
11:43:48 have anything to do with.
11:43:49 And that just your Uranus is the planet of surprise.
11:43:52 It's the planet where we least expected it,
11:43:54 I think is one way to say that.
11:43:56 On the shadow side of Uranus. It's about, you know, it's,
11:44:00 it's about rebellion.
11:44:01 Just for the sake of being a rebel it's it's a very
11:44:05 eccentric energy. It's.
11:44:06 Fanaticism.
11:44:08 It's a radicalism. It's an archi.
11:44:10 It's it's it's unreliable.
11:44:15 It's irresponsible.
11:44:16 It's it's very much about.
11:44:19 Just, you know,
11:44:20 and I'm thinking I'm visualizing a two year old having a temper
11:44:22 tantrum.
11:44:24 I mean, it's, it's sort of expected from a two year old,
11:44:26 but I'm just using that as an example.
11:44:28 It's like, it comes out of nowhere. You've, you know,
11:44:30 you've taken this two year old.
11:44:33 Out all day, giving them all the cotton candy you could possibly,
11:44:37 they could possibly want, okay, here's the giveaway, right?
11:44:38 Or the cotton candy, everything they want.
11:44:40 And they're still having a meltdown, you know,
11:44:42 but I guess that that would be expected.
11:44:44 So that might not have been such a good example,
11:44:46 but it's sort of like, wow, I was not really expecting that response.
11:44:52 Given everything, you know, that had gone on prior.
11:44:55 So it's very much about in the moment is what I'm trying to say.
11:44:59 So, you know, Uranus is the planet of the unexpected.
11:45:04 Next planet is Neptune.
11:45:06 So Neptune is now considered our furthest
11:45:10 planet from the sun because Pluto.
11:45:13 According to astronomers is not a planet.
11:45:15 So Neptune.
11:45:16 Stays in a sign for 14 years.
11:45:19 And Neptune is nebulous.
11:45:21 That's a word I always use in front of Neptune.
11:45:30 Nebulous Neptune. It's the intangible.
11:45:32 It's the things that we can't touch and feel.
11:45:35 It's everything that's around that, you know, it's very much about.
11:45:44 You know, Neptune is connected to psychic ability. It's,
11:45:47 it's the planet that impacts resonate with, you know, it's,
11:45:51 again, it's the things we can't touch and feel.
11:45:54 So it's very much about.
11:45:55 It's it's a spiritual planet. It's it's spiritual. It's creative.
11:45:59 It's musical.
11:46:05 And as I said, it's about psychic ability and it's, you know,
11:46:08 the other planets,
11:46:10 they say sometimes are the higher octane of the inner planets. So,
11:46:13 you know, Neptune would be connected to Venus.
11:46:16 And Pluto to Mars and Uranus to
11:46:20 mercury. So it's very much about with Neptune.
11:46:23 It's inspirational. It's divine.
11:46:30 You know, it's prophecy, it's,
11:46:33 it's a devotion, it's a reverence of sorts. And I,
11:46:37 you know, I connected Jupiter to spirituality, but really it's this.
11:46:40 It's the combination of Jupiter and Neptune, but in different ways.
11:46:43 So, you know, Jupiter's a bit more structured,
11:46:45 whereas Neptune's a bit more,
11:46:47 you have this belief and you have this connection to the divine.
11:46:50 So it's, it's very much about.
11:47:05 You know, just, just having that, that knowing, oh,
11:47:08 that glamour or that beauty, the things that we see,
11:47:11 the things that we aspire to connected to Neptune now
11:47:15 on the shadow side of that,
11:47:17 it's very much about confusion and deception and illusion.
11:47:35 Addictions are part of Neptune. They're also Pluto as well, but it's,
11:47:39 it's very much about the things that we think are real that are
11:47:43 not. And I, you know, I say a lot of times that Neptune,
11:47:46 there's a lot of fog, you know, we can't see beyond, you know, we can,
11:47:50 we know something's there. That's our sense.
11:47:52 That's the connection of our psychic ability to Neptune.
11:47:55 We know something's there. We can't quite see what it is,
11:47:58 or it's not quite apparent because.
11:47:59 Because there's a fog and I'm using the term fog or cloud because
11:48:03 that's intangible, you know, you go to, it's a Mirage, you go,
11:48:06 you go to reach out to something and you think it's there,
11:48:09 but it's not, it's, it's an illusion, a deception.
11:48:12 So that's the negative of Neptune. There's a, there's a.
11:48:16 You know, a dishonesty there. It's a, as I said,
11:48:19 it's a deception or it's a fraud.
11:48:21 And so that's, that's intangible as well in a lot of ways.
11:48:23 So it's the it's.
11:48:25 You know,
11:48:26 it's the things that we sense or the things that we think we might
11:48:29 know on the shadow.
11:48:30 That are not real. And that's why, you know,

11:48:56 That's that's the connection to Neptune. But if, if you know,
11:49:00 by transit, you know,
11:49:02 there's a really an amazing transit that Neptune might be making to
11:49:06 one of your natal planets, particularly an inner planet.
11:49:08 That that would be incredible.
11:49:09 Because there's a divinity and that's the word I really love
11:49:12 connecting with Neptune. It's.
11:49:22 The divine, it's the inspiration and the divinity. And,
11:49:26 and, you know,
11:49:27 in some ways we understand enlightenment because that's what we're,
11:49:31 we're all here for. Right. Is enlightenment to get through our comma,
11:49:35 to reach the divine, to reach enlightenment.
11:49:38 That's what.
11:49:39 That's what life is. That's what reincarnation is about.
11:49:42 Neptune helps us understand that.
11:49:44 But we need to be careful of false gurus or people making promises.
11:49:48 That's the deception of how to get there.
11:49:50 It really comes from inside or from internal and astrology can help us
11:49:54 understand that.
11:49:55 Last planet here.
11:49:56 Is a Pluto and yes, I'm going to say it again.
11:50:07 Say it again with Pluto is the most powerful planet of
11:50:11 all and astrologists yet still consider Pluto a planet. And I,
11:50:15 I would say, oh my goodness, don't mess with Bluto.
11:50:17 How are they missing and demoting with BlueDot? I'll never.
11:50:20 Ever understand.
11:50:21 You know what that was about.
11:50:22 But Pluto being Lord of the underworld Pluto is
11:50:26 ruler of Hades. Hades is hell.
11:50:29 Pluto is connected to hell the planet.
11:50:32 It rules is Scorpio.
11:50:34 And so what that means is that, you know, it's, it's.
11:50:37 It's also the planet of power and change and
11:50:40 transformation and metamorphosis.
11:50:43 Pluto is planet of the mafia.
11:50:57 It's planet of things that we can't see.
11:51:01 It's planet of manipulation. It's planet of,
11:51:05 you know,
11:51:06 who's pulling the strings behind the curtain who really has the power
11:51:09 here, the tail that wagged the dog.
11:51:12 You know, it's that, that is Pluto and Pluto.
11:51:15 If we can tap into our own.
11:51:17 Pluto, especially when we're having a transit to, to Bluto.
11:51:20 Or from Pluto, I should say as well.
11:51:22 Is that, you know, we,
11:51:24 we might be pushed down through hell when we are having a Pluto
11:51:27 transit.
11:51:32 But once we rise above, you know, this,
11:51:35 the Pluto transit or Pluto, even in our natal chart, you know,
11:51:38 so many people are born with really hard.
11:51:40 Pluto's particularly in the first house.
11:51:42 Then we can rise above the things that have been dealt.
11:51:49 Us by using our own inner resourcefulness and our own
11:51:53 power and believing in our own power and taking control.
11:51:56 I'm using all these Pluto keywords, taking control, you know, like.
11:52:00 Not letting it, whatever it may be. Circumstance, person, whatever,
11:52:03 get the better of us.
11:52:05 We can rise above it through our own resourcefulness, our own Pluto.
11:52:12 And not using it outward to manipulate others again,
11:52:15 another Pluto keyword.
11:52:17 It's like we're either going to use our own power for good or not.
11:52:20 So good.
11:52:23 But once we understand our own reserves and we,
11:52:27 we know how Pluto can serve us,
11:52:29 we can rise above anything that is thrown at us.
11:52:32 No matter how deep and dark it may be.
11:52:35 Now Pluto is also.
11:52:36 Pluto is also part of.
11:52:47 It's part of what people say the occult or black
11:52:51 magic Pluto can be used in that way as well.
11:52:54 It's really a dark sinister energy.
11:53:03 If that's how it comes about,
11:53:05 but it also is this amazing and nuclear,
11:53:09 it's a nuclear power as well. And again, it's like, it will be very,
11:53:12 it'll be destructive. It's the ultimate destruction, but it's also.
11:53:33 You know, if we can, if we can tap into that, the,
11:53:38 you know,
11:53:38 the amazing power of Pluto in a transformative way
11:53:43 is even beyond comprehension, you know,
11:53:45 and this is like people near death experiences. You know,
11:53:50 that, that's another thing because Pluto is about death.
11:53:52 It's about rebirth. That's what metamorphosis is. It's a rebirth.
11:53:56 But before we can do that, the.
11:53:58 Experiences of Pluto.
11:53:59 We have to go to the underworld and have that experience
11:54:03 of Pluto before we can rise above it and transform. And you know,
11:54:07 one of the symbols of Scorpio,
11:54:08 which is connected to Pluto is the Phoenix rising from the ashes.
11:54:11 And so the ashes being hell and, you know, the experiences that,
11:54:15 you know, so many of us have to go through throughout life.
11:54:17 Nobody gets, gets, you know, smooth sailing card.
11:54:20 That's just not how life is really as much as it might seem like that.
11:54:24 It really isn't.
11:54:38 So it's like, you know, we,
11:54:39 we have to go through these Pluto experiences. All of us,
11:54:42 all of us have to do it in some way at some stage.
11:54:45 So it's like the Phoenix rising from the ashes. That's Pluto,
11:54:47 that's Scorpio connected to Pluto,
11:54:49 the ashes Hades or hell the X equals the experiences and the tough
11:54:53 experiences that we all go through and then rising above it by tapping
11:54:57 into our own power.
11:54:59 Our own resourcefulness is what Pluto teaches us, but the heart.
11:55:02 Hard way. I say it's planet of change,
11:55:04 but it's planet of forced change.
11:55:06 It's changed that nobody willingly wants to make. And Pluto just,
11:55:10 just does it, you know, Pluto also wears an invisible.
11:55:13 Wears a helmet that makes him invisible. So there's,
11:55:16 that's why I said pulling the strings.
11:55:18 We can't really see where the power is,
11:55:20 but really it's internal and that's really what the secret of Pluto
11:55:23 is.
11:55:24 I'm making it sound really simple.
11:55:26 I know because it's so much bigger than that.
11:55:27 And next up the asteroids. So we have four main asteroids.
11:55:31 So the asteroid belt is between Mars and Jupiter.
11:55:36 And there's, there's countless numbers of asteroids,
11:55:38 but we use the four main asteroids, which are all,
11:55:41 which all have feminine energy. So Ceres is the mother.
11:55:44 So series represents the mother.
11:55:46 The nurturing and series is connected to Pluto as well because
11:55:51 her daughter [unknown].
11:55:52 Funny.
11:55:53 Pluto came and stole and took down to the underworld and series had to
11:55:57 work out a deal with Pluto where they would share [unknown].
11:56:00 You know, half and half, half time of the year.
11:56:02 So series is associated with the crops and agriculture
11:56:05 and nurturing, and so mothering and nurturing go hand in hand.
11:56:09 Not just with the moon, but also with series, it goes, it goes deeper.
11:56:12 And it's fascinating because as I just said,
11:56:14 series connected to Pluto, Pluto being Lord of the underworld series,
11:56:18 working out a deal with the devil, so to speak.

11:56:26 So series is quite a powerful force.
11:56:29 And particularly when it comes to, you know, that feminine energy.
11:56:53 Then we've got Vesta and Vesta is keeper of the Herth and
11:56:57 Vester is the high priestess who carries forth traditions.
11:57:01 And the, you know, in some way, the magic,
11:57:03 the feminine magic comes from Vesta caper of the herb Vester is
11:57:07 associated with, you know,
11:57:08 the Vestal virgins from all those thousands of years ago.
11:57:11 And so it's like the keeper of traditions,
11:57:13 but not traditions in the sense of sadden, but more of those.
11:57:16 Feminine traditions and, you know,
11:57:18 the way that things are and, you know, the,
11:57:21 the carried down from generation to generation sort of thing,
11:57:24 like the family recipes,
11:57:25 I can't think of a better example than that for Vesta.
11:57:27 Then we've got.
11:57:28 Juno is the wife.
11:57:30 And palace a theme. So Juno is the wife and Juno.
11:57:33 Is actually the wife of Jupiter. Juno is also known as Hara.
11:57:37 And so she is the wife. So she's the feminine.
11:57:40 Energy of the wife or the partner.
11:57:42 And she wasn't always treated very well by Jupiter.
11:57:45 So this is about rising above it.
11:57:53 And, you know, not just having independence,
11:57:55 but having that courage from within to be able to find equality.
11:57:59 So Juno really O'Hara really is about being able to
11:58:03 find equality within a relationship, especially.
11:58:06 And how to navigate that. And then we've got palace, palace of Thien.
11:58:10 She's the daughter of Jupiter and she's the peaceful warrior.
11:58:14 So she's the one who.
11:58:18 You know, she's the peaceful warrior means she doesn't act as
11:58:21 Moz does and just rushes out there with this aggressive,
11:58:25 angry energy and just goes for it.
11:58:27 You know, in a really angry way,
11:58:29 she's more about the peaceful negotiator.
11:58:39 She's more about, you know, her mythology is protecting,
11:58:42 she protected Athens, but in a very peaceful way, she's the mediator.
11:58:46 She's the negotiator.
11:58:48 She has the power because she's the daughter of a Jupiter,
11:58:51 but she doesn't use that.
11:58:52 She doesn't.
11:58:53 You know, she uses her own power to achieve what she wants.
11:58:57 You know, she's more about the win-win situation rather than.
11:59:00 You know, let's go at it. And what have you.
11:59:03 So it's very much about the peaceful negotiator.
11:59:05 The peaceful warrior was palace a thing.
11:59:10 And, you know, finally Kyron. So Kyron,
11:59:14 as I said is not an asteroid, not a planet, but a planetoid.
11:59:17 That's not a technical official word.
11:59:23 So Kyron is a planetoid and Kyron is known,
11:59:26 sits between Saturn and Uranus and carne is known as the wounded
11:59:29 healer.
11:59:31 And so what that means is it's about the experiences that we
11:59:35 go through, the tough experiences we go through the trauma.
11:59:39 That we, that we have, we all have it.
11:59:44 Experiences and trauma.
11:59:45 And if it's not this lifetime prior lifetimes that we bring into this
11:59:48 lifetime with us to help us resolve.
11:59:51 Car on can help us move beyond our trauma.
11:59:56 Caron helps us not only understand and move beyond our
12:00:00 trauma and our comma around our trauma.
12:00:20 But how we can help others through the experiences that we have been
12:00:24 through this lifetime prior lifetimes,
12:00:27 it's a knowledge and it's a teacher, you know,
12:00:29 and the mythology of Caron is the center and the centers where
12:00:34 the scholars, you know, they were the scholars,
12:00:36 they were the teachers. And so they were also on the flip side.

11:01:29 And so today we're going to be talking about the sign
11:01:32 classifications, which I love.
11:01:34 It's one of my favorite topics,
11:01:36 because it's like a shorthand.
11:01:38 With regards to knowing which sides are compatible.
11:01:57 It's a quick,
11:01:58 quick and easy way to know the characteristics of signs and how the
11:02:02 signs are connected in all their different ways.
11:02:04 So I'm really looking forward to today's event.
11:02:07 But before I do that,
11:02:08 I want to read out a few comments that some of you have
11:02:12 made that I absolutely love reading in the discussion forum.
11:02:16 And this one's from rela and it's from the
11:02:19 previous class that we had with regards to the characteristics
11:02:24 of each of the signs.
11:02:25 Rela is a Leo and says Leo's a loyal and strong and can show
11:02:29 great leadership.
11:02:30 Lynn is also a Leo. So is everybody getting like the,
11:02:34 the connection here that Leo's tend to sort of jump in and know that.
11:02:38 They're not afraid. So that's, that's another thing for Leo.
11:02:41 So Lynn says that Leo is loyal dramatic with a
11:02:45 big heart.
11:02:46 Valerie. N a Taurus says Turians a strong,
11:02:50 focused and sensual.
11:02:52 And a little story here in case some of you didn't see this by

11:02:56 So she says here that an Aries,
11:02:59 which is her younger sister.
11:03:01 Tourists older sister. She couldn't stop laughing.
11:03:09 And there seems to be a rivalry from the start with Aries child being

11:03:16 here's the dynamic family dynamics playing out.
11:03:31 With regards to the signs.
11:03:32 But of course we know that astrology is so much more than just our
11:03:35 Zodiac signs,
11:03:37 but it's a fantastic place to start where we get an understanding of
11:03:40 not just ourselves, but as Terry, Lena says,
11:03:42 he with family members that they're usually the next victims.
11:03:45 And then of course the other people in our lives.
11:04:01 Friends colleagues. And what have you, Brian says that Leo,
11:04:05 another Leo. So the Leos are posting, which of course I,
11:04:08 I get a bit of a kick out of,
11:04:09 so Brian says Leo's generosity,
11:04:13 sunny disposition, and bombastic. Thank you for the negative comment.
11:04:16 I know sometimes it's hard to look at the shadow,
11:04:19 the shadow sides of particularly our sun signs, but that's,
11:04:22 that's how life is, you know, the light and the dark.
11:04:24 Dark or the shadow.
11:04:25 Her Seuss, a Gemini.
11:04:27 Says adaptable,
11:04:29 communicative and intellectual. Yes, absolutely.
11:04:33 And angelic, I'm just reading the keywords. I didn't put the sign,
11:04:37 but I'm going to say cancer, moody, sympathetic, and nurturing.

11:04:43 I was a bit shocked by some of the descriptions because they didn't
11:04:46 fit at all. However, most did.
11:04:49 So three characteristics of Virgo, according to Miriam.

11:05:09 mystery. Now, usually we associate mystery with Scorpio,
11:05:12 but I'd have to say we could give that to Virgo as well. Mystery,
11:05:15 more like being misunderstood. So, you know, with Virgo,
11:05:19 the seeker of perfection and efficiency, you know,
11:05:21 that that can be not clear to some people and the shadow side of that
11:05:25 could come across as criticism. So I just wanted to clarify that,
11:05:28 but thank you everyone.
11:05:29 Everyone who submitted the keywords for the signs.
11:05:33 That was a lot of fun.
11:05:41 And then I just wanted to move into today's lesson
11:05:45 and it's going to be the sign characteristics.
11:05:48 And the couple of you have already posted rela says,
11:05:51 I am a fire sign, fire signs, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
11:05:55 We are hot blooded and quite passionate.
11:05:57 We make good leaders and our adventurous,
11:05:58 we like it fast paced in our passion helps us get into things
11:06:01 wholeheartedly. Absolutely. Yes, that was right on.
11:06:05 And then Brian says again, a fire element.
11:06:08 So the fire element, Sagittarius, airy Sagittarius, Leo.
11:06:12 The fire signs are creative, emotional, warm, and impulsive.
11:06:15 So I think without further ado,
11:06:17 we will launch into the characteristics,
11:06:19 all of the elements and then the modalities.
11:06:22 And then what I really want to do is talk about how they connect or
11:06:26 how they hook in. Because as I just said before,
11:06:32 The characteristics of each of these
11:06:35 modalities or the elements really group the signs together.
11:06:39 So starting with the elements because you know,
11:06:41 astrology is about the movement of the planets around the sun.
11:06:45 It's the study of the movement of the planets around the sun.
11:06:48 Of course it incorporates more than that, but.
11:06:57 I'm just,
11:06:58 I'm keeping it at at a level that it's going to be easy to
11:07:02 connect the dots.
11:07:03 So if we think about the planets moving around the sun,
11:07:06 and then we give interpretation to that. So that's,
11:07:10 that's how our earth fits into our solar system.
11:07:13 And so that's when we look at astrology from that point of view,
11:07:16 You know, it's the natural cycles of our world.
11:07:19 And so the elements.
11:07:20 The song, the 12 signs grouped into the four elements and that's
11:07:24 fire.
11:07:25 Earth air and water.
11:07:27 And so the fire signs, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
11:07:31 And I'll talk about what those characteristics are.
11:07:33 I've got a list here, cause I didn't want to forget anything.
11:07:35 So I'm looking down because I've got my list.
11:07:37 And so are the earth signs, a Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.
11:07:40 And so you think about, and I say this a lot.
11:07:48 Think about the metaphor of what these are or think about the
11:07:51 symbology of what this is. So, you know, the fire signs, as I said,
11:07:55 Aries, Leo sag.
11:07:57 A very think of fire, how fast it moves and how, you know,
11:08:01 when there's too much fire, it will destruct anything in its path.
11:08:05 And then you've got the earth signs.
11:08:10 Tourists Virgo, Capricorn, and think of the earth,
11:08:13 how it's immovable. Think of the mountain.
11:08:16 Think about how the youth.
11:08:18 You know, it's, it's supports us.
11:08:20 It's literally grounding or grounded.
11:08:23 And then you've got the air signs.
11:08:25 Gemini.
11:08:27 Libra and Aquarius,
11:08:29 and then think about the symbology of air or the wind.
11:08:33 And then when there's too much of it it's or a tornado or a hurricane.
11:08:38 Now think about the people in your life, you know, as we all do,
11:08:41 when we think, Oh,
11:08:47 Air signs, Gemini labor, Aquarius. Oh, all those Geminis in my life.
11:08:51 They can be like that. They can, you know, come into a room.
11:08:54 Work the room really fast and out they go again and we're all just
11:08:57 standing here watching them do that.
11:09:05 So, you know, think about the symbology of these things.
11:09:09 So, and then finally, we've got the water signs and the water signs,
11:09:12 cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
11:09:14 And so it's very emotional.
11:09:18 You know, you think about water.
11:09:20 And particularly when I think of Scorpio,
11:09:23 I think of the deepest part of the deepest ocean, you know,
11:09:26 like the biggest ocean.
11:09:41 The depth, the depth of the water signs, it's,
11:09:43 it's boundless and an uncontained at times,
11:09:47 particularly when we're thinking of emotion.
11:09:50 So the emotions of that, you know, being uncontained or being,
11:09:54 you know, having the depths of that. Now,
11:09:55 when I think of the four elements, I've, I've also.
11:10:05 You know, and many of us in, in this space, in this area,
11:10:09 you know, look to other divinations, you know, we've got astrology,
11:10:12 but there's divinations that other people do and incorporate.
11:10:15 And I just think of the playing cards, you know,
11:10:17 like the deck of cards, with the elements, fire earth, air and water,
11:10:21 or the tarot cards, you know, we're swords.
11:10:27 Swords or air and, you know,
11:10:30 the others are quite to the suits of the cards. So, you know,
11:10:33 it goes across the board. And I know with Chinese astrology,
11:10:36 they do incorporate a fifth element, which is metal,
11:10:39 but we don't do that with Western astrology.
11:10:42 We just keep with the four elements, fire earth, air and water.
11:10:46 Now the thing with the connection between the signs.
11:10:49 And I'm going to start with the elements and I will move into the
11:10:51 modalities or the qualities.
11:10:53 Those two words are interchangeable, modality or quality.
11:10:56 And that's another grouping or another classification of the 12
11:11:00 Zodiac signs.
11:11:01 So bef, but before I do that, you know,
11:11:03 like if we look at the connection with the elements and within the
11:11:07 elements,
11:11:09 So you've got the fire sides and I'm going to keep repeating it and
11:11:13 repeating it. So the fire signs, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius,
11:11:17 we know from a compatibility point of view.
11:11:22 That the fire signs, you know, have an understanding,
11:11:26 like if let's say an El elemental understanding, so, you know, Aries,
11:11:30 Leo and Sagittarius, if we apply.
11:11:40 I make a dynamism. Dine-in.
11:11:42 That word's not coming out and I can't even blame mercury retrograde a
11:11:45 dynamic.
11:11:57 A dynamic quality to the fire signs and think about the fire
11:12:00 sign people in your life. If you're not a fire sign yourself,
11:12:03 do you have an Aries, Leo and Sagittarius in your life?
11:12:06 And is this applicable, you know,
11:12:14 Sometimes when I hear about certain signs or I'm thinking about
11:12:17 certain signs or, you know, some influences coming up,
11:12:20 it always makes me smile. And I,
11:12:22 I can equate that to someone I know in my life, you know, you know,
11:12:26 Oh, somebody is the epitome of a Leo or what have you.
11:12:28 So the fire signs,
11:12:29 the list that I have here for the fire signs,
11:12:33 you know, they're aspirational, they're inspirational.
11:12:36 They're idealistic.
11:12:37 Seeking freedom. They're creative. You know,
11:12:40 that's a really big word associated with the fire science,
11:12:43 very creative, because they're always.
11:12:45 Excuse me. I've got to just mute this first.
11:12:49 They're always on the go they're enterprising. They're demonstrative.
11:12:53 They're full of energy. They're full of life.
11:12:56 Action is another really big word for the fire science.

11:13:13 More of the same word really.
11:13:15 And here's one impulsive and that's the word I really didn't want to
11:13:18 forget about the fire signs. They're very impulsive.
11:13:21 They're very courageous.
11:13:23 Daring and can be quite rash.
11:13:31 So that's my list of words for the fire signs.
11:13:33 And let me know if there's any comments or anybody can relate,
11:13:37 particularly it's, it's never about ourselves.
11:13:39 It's always about others right in our lives. So if there's.
11:13:42 You know, th the, the shadow or the light side of the sign.
11:13:51 Let me know, give me some feedback, but I'm,
11:13:53 I'm saying these with a smile on my face, because there's always,
11:13:56 you know, with, with, as I said, this is one of my favorite topics,
11:13:59 the classification of the signs and how the signs connect
11:14:03 together.
11:14:04 Now the earth signs back to the earth sides and that's Taurus,
11:14:07 Virgo and Capricorn.
11:14:09 And so, you know, I, I,
11:14:11 I grouped them together as birthy and they are
11:14:15 very practical and grounded and.
11:14:18 Pragmatic and, you know, they're, they're the,
11:14:22 the rock.
11:14:26 Or the mountain, you know, like I said before, I think of the earth,
11:14:29 I think of being grounded and then the symbology of earth signs,
11:14:32 the biggest is.
11:14:34 You know, is the mountain.
11:14:35 And so the key words I have here for the earth science.
11:14:43 Practical materialistic and a dependable
11:14:47 industrious, conservative accumulative.
11:14:55 Can be possessive thrifty,
11:14:57 and then they want security looking,
11:15:00 particularly for financial security can be reserved and
11:15:04 passive.
11:15:07 And suppressive in some ways too, but basically,
11:15:11 you know, if you're not an earth sign, think about tourists, Virgo,
11:15:14 or Capricorn that you have in your life.
11:15:37 And, you know, do they fit these qualities? You know,
11:15:40 Terry Lynn use that example of siblings and how the
11:15:44 sibling dynamic played out with regards to, you know,
11:15:48 the sun signs and the characteristics of the signs.
11:15:51 So now as we group the signs together with these different
11:15:54 groupings, you know, what does,
11:15:56 what does that mean and how does that play out now?
11:15:59 We've got the air signs, you know, the air.
11:16:01 Air signs of the Zodiac and that's Gemini Libra and Aquarius.
11:16:05 And so if you're not an air sign,
11:16:07 think about the air signs in your life. How does that play out?
11:16:11 So, you know, the list that I have here for the air signs, you know,
11:16:14 their mental, their intellectual.
11:16:16 They're perceptive. They're alert.
11:16:18 Receptive versatile adjustable,
11:16:21 even as a fixed air sign being Aquarius can be adjustable,
11:16:26 expressive.
11:16:35 Observative gregarious cooperative compatible
11:16:38 tolerant can be detached, nervous.
11:16:41 And so with, with the air signs,
11:16:44 they're very intellectual. They're, they're the smarts of the Zodiac.
11:16:48 You know, the fire signs are the doers, the earth signs, you know,
11:16:52 other, other ones that hold it together.
11:16:53 I can't think of that one single word that would explain it.
11:16:56 And then the air signs are the intellectuals and I'm always blown away
11:17:00 by the air signs.
11:17:01 And when I think about the air signs that I know they're just so quick
11:17:04 and clever.
11:17:05 And this is not just Zodiac your sun sign.
11:17:08 This is if you have any of any planets in any of these elements.
11:17:12 And you know, a lot of times I I've heard over the years that.
11:17:14 People might say, look, I'm this Zodiac sign,
11:17:16 but it doesn't really fit me.
11:17:36 And so, you know, you look to the other planets, you know,
11:17:40 at the time you were born and the signs that were in which of course,
11:17:44 you know, next lesson, next webinar,
11:17:46 we're going to be talking about the planets.
11:17:47 And so it'll all start to come together.
11:17:49 It sort of unfolds the more that we take these steps.
11:17:53 And the more that we understand it, piece by piece, because, you know,
11:17:56 with astrology, there is just so much to it way beyond our sun signs,
11:18:00 as I'm sure you all know by.
11:18:01 Now. So, you know, th the signs are a great place to start,
11:18:04 because when I'm talking about the signs here,
11:18:06 I'm not just talking about.
11:18:08 The sun sign I'm talking about. It could be any planet in any sign.
11:18:11 So the sign will give the planet. The flavor,
11:18:14 I guess is one way to say it.
11:18:15 Next up,
11:18:16 we've got the water signs and I've got my list here about the water
11:18:19 signs and you know,
11:18:21 what the water signs are about and how that binds them together.
11:18:24 So the water signs being Kansas Scorpio and Pisces.
11:18:28 And so, you know,
11:18:29 the first word that comes to mind for the water signs is emotional.
11:18:33 And it and emotional.
11:18:34 You know,
11:18:35 a lot of times has negative connotations and it's not about that.
11:18:38 It's not, and that's, that's the beauty of astrology.
11:18:41 It teaches us there's not good or bad.
11:18:42 And I really try not to use the words good or bad.
11:18:46 You know, in my vocabulary. I know sometimes I probably do,
11:18:49 but you know,
11:18:50 I I'm mindfully trying not to do that because astrology really
11:18:54 teaches us that there's not good or bad. It just is, you know,
11:18:58 You know,
11:18:59 one way to describe the not so great is the shadow side of
11:19:03 it. But, you know, we.
11:19:05 That that's life.
11:19:06 We can't have everything as perfect as we would like it to be.
11:19:09 So astrology helps us understand that.
11:19:11 So the word emotional doesn't mean.
11:19:18 You know, someone crying in a heap in the corner.
11:19:19 That's not the water science, emotional is in touch with emotions.
11:19:23 We've we feel our feelings, whereas the earth, excuse me,
11:19:27 the ASI lines.
11:19:30 You know, in their head, typically that energy of the air sign,
11:19:34 it's an intellectual energy. It's not an emotional energy.
11:19:37 So the focus for this air energies a is.
11:19:40 Is a logic, logic and reason. Whereas for the water signs,
11:19:44 it's, you know, this emotional sensitivity.
11:19:51 So the key words here for the water signs, cancer Scorpio,
11:19:55 and Pisces,
11:19:55 emotional sensitive feeling impressionable.
11:19:59 Absorptive imaginative, devotion, compassion,
11:20:03 psychic.
11:20:06 Romantic secretive and can be
11:20:10 indulgent, but definitely visionary.
11:20:11 So there's a higher, there's like this theory.
11:20:34 Will this theory or quality about the water
11:20:38 element? You know, it's, there's another dimension and you know,
11:20:42 the water signs or the water,
11:20:43 the element of water teaches us and shows us that, you know,
11:20:47 when the earth signs look at the material plane or the mundane plane,
11:20:51 the water signs and looking at a different.
11:20:53 Dimension or a different plane. That's very a theory or that,
11:20:57 that helps us to understand that there's more to just the here and
11:21:01 now, you know, there's so much beyond that.
11:21:04 And so that's what the water element will help us with.
11:21:06 So we have the fire element, which is about taking action,
11:21:10 the spontaneity of life.
11:21:27 The earth signs of the grounding, practical, you know,
11:21:31 taking care of our responsibilities on this plane.
11:21:34 And then the air element is all about the intellectual and
11:21:39 the cerebral and the logical and the reasoning.
11:21:42 And then the water element is about the emotional and,
11:21:46 you know,
11:21:47 what's beyond what we can actually see that's right in front of us.
11:21:51 So that's really.
11:21:52 You know, the, the overview there of the elements.
11:21:54 Now I want to talk about the qualities.
11:21:57 All the modalities.
11:21:58 And so what I want to do with that is, you know,
11:22:02 go through like I did with the elements and, you know,
11:22:05 I've got my list, my list of keywords here.
11:22:08 For each of 'em.
11:22:09 The modalities or the qualities. And so.
11:22:25 There's basically two classifications,
11:22:28 two main classifications of the Zodiac signs.
11:22:31 And the first one is the elements, fire earth, air and water.
11:22:34 And then the second classification are the qualities also known as the
11:22:38 modalities. So I'll use those words interchangeably.
11:22:42 So we've got Cardinal fixed and mutable.
11:22:45 So the 12 Sodi X signs are divided into.
11:22:48 The four elements and the four qualities.
11:22:52 And so the Cardinal fixed and mutable qualities.
11:22:55 And so the Cardinal signs.
11:22:57 Aries cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
11:23:00 And so they're the leaders of the Zodiac. They're the initiators,
11:23:03 but in different areas of life, you know,
11:23:06 we can't have what's that saying too many cooks in the kitchen.
11:23:09 We, we, we don't want too many cooks in the kitchen.
11:23:11 We've got to have, you know,
11:23:13 Different different leaders in different areas. So, you know,
11:23:17 we've got Aries.
11:23:18 Cancer Libra, Capricorn.
11:23:20 And I'm going to talk about it in more detail in just a minute about
11:23:22 what the focus is for each of those signs.
11:23:24 And then we've got the fixed signs, which is Taurus,
11:23:27 Leo Scorpio and Aquarius.
11:23:30 And so the fixed signs are the ones that keep the wheels turning.
11:23:40 You know, just keep things going.
11:23:42 And then we've got the mutable signs, which would be adaptable,
11:23:45 flexible signs of the Zodiac and that's
11:23:48 Gemini Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.
11:23:51 And so the mutable signs are.
11:23:53 Adaptable go with the flow.
11:23:58 And so they're, I always say they're the ones that, you know,
11:24:02 really help those fix signs, not get too stuck in the mud.
11:24:05 So we've got different.
11:24:06 So with the Cardinal fixed and mutable energies,
11:24:09 they really have different.
11:24:10 Different functions. And so just, just like the elements,
11:24:14 but it's just a whole different grouping.
11:24:15 So for the Cardinal signs and that's Aries cancer,
11:24:18 Libra and Capricorn.
11:24:20 I say that they were the leaders of the Zodiac.
11:24:22 I always say they're the trendsetters.
11:24:24 They're the ones that are,
11:24:25 that can see new directions and see where we should be headed.
11:24:31 And so they're initiating,
11:24:34 they are original resourceful, pioneering,
11:24:37 progressive, independent.
11:24:42 Can be ambitious and the accomplishes they're expressive
11:24:47 and enthusiastic and can be impulsive sometimes
11:24:50 forceful.
11:24:51 Tense.
11:24:52 Impatient and dissatisfied.
11:24:55 Now I know some of those words might've sounded like a crossover with
11:24:57 the elements.
11:25:08 With what I just said, but you know, that, that's how,
11:25:11 that's how it can be with this grouping of signs. It's like, you know,
11:25:15 sometimes there is a crossover. So if you have, if you're an Aries,
11:25:19 you know, you're a Cardinal fire sign.
11:25:22 So the word impatient fits perfectly.
11:25:24 Whereas, you know, you might be a little more patient.
11:25:26 Say if you're a Libra and we know you're a Cardinal sign,
11:25:30 but you're an air sign. So there's more of an intellectual, you know,
11:25:33 thought process that goes into something.
11:25:35 So that's how each of the 12 signs.
11:25:43 And I'll go through through it. After I go through the modalities,
11:25:46 I'll go through what each of the 12 signs are and the groupings with
11:25:49 these two types of groupings. So that's how it starts to break down.
11:25:53 And then that's how the connections come into place.
11:25:55 So if you're a fixed sign or, you know,
11:25:58 anybody that's a fixed sign and I'm sure we all know somebody that's
11:26:01 either.
11:26:05 Tourists Leo Scorpio or Aquarius.
11:26:08 And so the fixed signs, as I said,
11:26:12 they're the ones that keep the wheels turning.
11:26:14 They're the ones that keep everybody on track.
11:26:16 And so the fixed signs.
11:26:18 The keywords I have here, stability.
11:26:21 Not everybody's conservative.
11:26:29 But the word conservative just means, you know, the tried and true,
11:26:32 you know, how things have been done and how things keep going,
11:26:35 dependable, persistent, determined, consistent.
11:26:39 From reserved.
11:26:41 A thorough, reliable patient.
11:26:43 Retentive.
11:26:44 Possessive accumulative.
11:26:46 And habit bound.
11:26:48 And then the last word I have here is you guessed it stubborn.
11:26:53 So, you know,
11:26:55 and some of those words don't fit perfectly with F with all of the
11:26:58 fixed signs.
11:27:02 You know,
11:27:03 I tried to make sure that the words were a good fit for most,
11:27:06 but I was smiling when I was reading.
11:27:07 Which one was it here or patient?
11:27:17 I, the reason I was smiling is because patient, but then, you know,
11:27:21 Leo is the fire sign of this group.
11:27:24 And fire signs are not really very patient via signs being
11:27:27 Aries, Leo Sagittarius.
11:27:29 So why is patient on the list for fixed signs?
11:27:32 Mostly the fixed signs, you know, our patient.
11:27:35 There's always some little exception or disclaimer to a lot of
11:27:39 these astrology rules and patient, I guess.
11:27:44 You know, out of the three fire signs, Aries Leo sag,
11:27:48 I guess Leo would be the most patient,
11:27:50 but that's not a word I typically use for Leo.
11:27:52 And if any of you here,

11:29:32 Typically fit with these mutable signs.
11:29:37 And of course again, the mutable signs, Gemini Virgo, Sagittarius,
11:29:41 and Pisces.
11:29:47 And as I was saying, it's like, nobody, you know,
11:29:50 because we're all like a recipe that has various engraved
11:29:54 different ingredients.
11:29:56 And the ingredients being, of course,
11:29:57 the planets and the signs and what have you,
11:29:59 and then the connections they make. So this is very much about.
11:30:06 The energy of what these mutable signs are about.
11:30:09 And so if you are a mutable sign, you know, let me know,
11:30:13 put it in the chat.
11:30:28 Put it in the chat window there for everyone to see that basically,
11:30:32 you know, we really need the mutable energy.
11:30:35 And especially with what's been going on in the world, you know,
11:30:37 we need to be changeable and adaptable and we need to be able to,
11:30:41 you know, as they say, roll with the punches,
11:30:43 I couldn't think of a better, better, better saying there.
11:30:46 But it's like,
11:30:46 You know, what these qualities bring is, you know,
11:30:50 all the things that we need in life, you know,
11:30:52 the Cardinal signs or the Cardinal energy brings.
11:30:55 Initiating, you know, like being able to move in new directions.
11:31:05 The fixed energy helps is to be able to get there and,
11:31:09 you know, stay on course.
11:31:10 And then the mutable energy really is about being able to be flexible
11:31:14 and adaptable because that's, what's required of us.
11:31:18 All of these characteristics.
11:31:28 So each you can see how each will play into what we need in
11:31:32 life is to, you know,
11:31:34 the initiating responses from that Cardinal energy.
11:31:38 The fixed keeps us on course,
11:31:39 and then the mutable allows us and helps us to grow and adapt in
11:31:43 a chain and change as we need to.
11:31:46 You know, and sometimes they say the Cardinal is the,
11:31:48 the Cardinal energy is the present.
11:31:50 The fixed is the past and the noodle is the future.
11:31:52 I don't use those terms, but I have seen those before.
11:31:55 And so back to the elements.
11:31:56 So the fire earth air and water classifications.
11:31:59 So as I'd said before, you know, it's great.
11:32:03 It's a great short hand to know these two types of
11:32:06 sign groupings to understand that, you know,
11:32:10 with, with, particularly with the elements, let's start there.
11:32:13 With compatibility.
11:32:22 So, you know, I've, you can imagine I've been asked over the decades,
11:32:26 which signs are compatible, you know, who who's compatible.
11:32:30 As I keep saying,
11:32:30 we know astrology is so much more than the Zodiac signs,
11:32:33 but it's a fabulous place. And really the only place to start.
11:32:36 So we know that the fire element.
11:32:41 Aries Leo Sagittarius that's that's
11:32:44 compatibility one Oh one. So what I mean by that is,
11:32:48 you know, the, the fire element is compatible.
11:32:50 There's an understanding around.
11:32:53 The element of fire.
11:32:54 And I'm not even talking, just Zodiac signs, just sun sign.
11:32:57 So if you have an Aries and a Leo, well, then I know that's a great,
11:33:00 great foundation for compatibility.
11:33:08 But, you know, if somebody's a tourist and somebody is a Leo,
11:33:11 they might, you might say, well, they're both fixed signs.
11:33:14 And I know that could be challenging because they might be, you know,
11:33:18 set in their ways.
11:33:24 But the tourist person might have a lot of Aries energy.
11:33:28 And that makes a fantastic connection with the Leo sun
11:33:32 person. Now, I know I'm sort of getting my,
11:33:34 I feel like I am getting a bit ahead of myself here,
11:33:36 but this is also a really fun topic.
11:33:37 Is not just a sign classifications,
11:33:40 but the compatibility of the sign classifications.
11:33:42 And that's really what I wanted to get to. But please give me any,

11:34:39 Using these two types of classifications is a
11:34:43 shorthand or a shortcut,
11:34:44 and it just makes life so much easier when you know how the signs
11:34:49 connect with each other.
11:34:50 And I'm not even talking when I say compatibility,
11:34:52 I don't even necessarily mean two people compatibility.
11:34:55 I just mean the compatibility of the signs to each other.
11:34:58 And I know you're thinking, well, what does that mean?
11:35:00 So, you know,
11:35:01 where may our astrology chart is made up of so much more than
11:35:04 obviously just our Zodiac sign.
11:35:06 But you know,
11:35:07 where all the planets in different signs at the moment we were born.
11:35:11 And so, for example, if, as I'll use the same example,
11:35:13 if you're a tourist son,
11:35:15 But you might have moon and Venus in Aries,
11:35:17 and then you might have mercury in Gemini. And so they've you,
11:35:19 you know,
11:35:20 If you catch my drift here, it's sort of like, you know,
11:35:23 you start to see the,
11:35:25 the recipe out individual recipes. So we each have our own.
11:35:37 A snapshot or blueprint of what we're made up of, you know,
11:35:41 planet wise and sign wise. And so, you know,
11:35:44 using that is what starts to give us dimension and then the
11:35:48 dynamic, not within our, just within ourselves,
11:35:50 but how we get on with other people. And thank you, Valerie.

11:37:05 And so bringing it over to compatibility,
11:37:07 and I'm not even talking about romantic compatibility, either,
11:37:10 just any sort of connection that we have with other people, you know,
11:37:14 there's that, there's that understanding? There's that shorthand?
11:37:16 And, you know, you might be thinking, well,
11:37:18 I know earth signs and they're not good with their money,
11:37:21 or they're not responsible or practical.
11:37:23 It just depends on how that energy sits within
11:37:27 someone's natal birth chart or, you know,
11:37:34 When we're born,
11:37:35 we have the snapshot of the sky at the moment we take our first breath
11:37:39 and that's how we cast an astrology chart.
11:37:42 And that's what we call our chart or our birth chart or our natal
11:37:45 chart or the chart wheel.
11:37:47 And so that's what we use as our blueprint,
11:37:49 you know, when it comes to astrology.
11:37:51 We're also born into.
11:37:53 Lifetimes. Well, let's just say this lifetime.
11:38:03 With a certain amount of free will. So here we are here,
11:38:06 we have the planetary influences that are our,
11:38:09 our guideposts,
11:38:10 and then we have a level of free will where it's up to
11:38:14 us on.
11:38:15 On how we use these energies that we've been blessed with,
11:38:19 or that we've been born with.
11:38:23 So, you know, w we've got this fight. I don't want to say fight,
11:38:26 cause that sounds sort of a bit scary to people,
11:38:28 particularly in the Western hemisphere, but you know,
11:38:31 we were born with fate and free will.
11:38:33 And, you know, I don't know how much we have of each.
11:38:36 I don't think any of us really know that.
11:38:38 But it's like we have the fate of the birth chart or the,
11:38:41 the agreed upon.
11:38:43 Let's just,
11:38:44 let's just call it the agreement of when we chose to come into this
11:38:48 lifetime.
11:38:49 And, and, you know,
11:38:50 born at that minute in time where we have that birth chart.
11:39:01 And then we have that free will on how we're going to use the
11:39:04 blessings that we're born with through our birth chart. And so that,
11:39:08 that might help explain a little bit about.
11:39:11 You know, these energies and.
11:39:18 You know, how is it that twins are born at the same time?
11:39:20 Maybe I said this last time,
11:39:21 our twins were born at the same time yet they lead different lives.
11:39:25 Well, it's, it's the free will that comes into play with that.
11:39:28 So looking at the air element and that's Gemini Libra and
11:39:32 Aquarius. So their commonality, you know,
11:39:34 when it comes to compatibility or connection,
11:39:37 What connects them? It's that intellectual connection.
11:39:40 It's that cerebral connection. And I don't, when I say intellectual,
11:39:43 I don't mean they have to be.
11:39:51 You know, Harvard scholars or anything like that.
11:39:53 I'm just saying that what,
11:39:54 what the connection is with the air element is that
11:39:58 communication.
11:40:01 It's the cerebral, you know,
11:40:04 connection that the air element has to, you know, to each other,
11:40:08 the Gemini Libra and Aquarius.
11:40:13 I'm going to go back and I'm going to use the example again,
11:40:16 because I'm on a tangent here with the example of tourists son.
11:40:19 So you've got someone who's a tourist, let's say again.
11:40:22 Moon and Venus in Aries.
11:40:26 But then, you know,
11:40:27 so that he he's the pitcher playing out tourists son.

11:40:44 Energy, they can be determined. They consistent.
11:40:48 And you know, it's, it's about bringing in money because you know,
11:40:52 tourists is not just.
11:40:53 The earth element, but it is one of the signs of materialism as well.
11:40:57 But then on the other hand,
11:41:12 You know this individual with moon and Venus in Aries,
11:41:16 for example. So then, you know,
11:41:18 when it comes to their relationships or their emotions,
11:41:20 they're the brave warrior, very courageous. And now we move into,
11:41:24 let's say a mercury in Gemini of this individual.
11:41:42 So intellectually very quick, very clever,
11:41:46 probably, you know,
11:41:48 for entertainment would like board games or word games,
11:41:52 so that doesn't quite fit with the nature of tourists being this
11:41:55 grounded, practical, fixed earth sign,
11:41:58 or then the emotions of moon Venus in Aries.
11:42:02 So very quick emotionally, and then you've got.
11:42:05 This other side of it, the intellect of mercury in Gemini.
11:42:09 So moving really fast intellectually.
11:42:11 So I I'm,
11:42:12 I'm using that as an example because those three sides are together
11:42:15 and typically the inner planets, very close to the sun. Anyway.
11:42:18 So using that as an example, just to show you that.
11:42:21 Even though the sun signs Zodiac sign is where we all start with
11:42:25 astrology is just so much more to it.
11:42:27 And so it also shows us that.
11:42:38 You know, every individual, we have our own,
11:42:42 our own uniqueness.
11:42:43 And then when you bring the free will into play,
11:42:46 that just gives a whole added,
11:42:48 I want to say unexpected,
11:42:50 but I don't think that's quite the right word.
11:42:52 I'm looking for this unexpected quality of will.
11:42:56 If we have free, will.
11:42:57 You know, how do we,
11:42:58 we know that we're going to get from point a to point B at some stage.
11:43:02 But we might choose to go in all different ways,
11:43:04 even though we're all tourists sons with Aries moons.
11:43:23 You know, like there's all these other components as well.
11:43:26 Hopefully what I'm saying is making sense here. So I feel like I'm,
11:43:28 again, I'm off on a tangent here, but that's the,
11:43:30 that's the beauty with astrology. It's like,
11:43:32 you can't just look at one thing by itself because everything is
11:43:36 connected and Oh geez. That's a metaphor for life. Really?
11:43:40 Everything is connected.
11:43:41 We are all connected and that's that's, you know,
11:43:45 yet another thing that astrology teaches us, it's like, we're.
11:43:48 All connected. Yes. You know?
11:43:49 A 12th of the world's population might be born under the sign of the
11:43:53 ball, but we're all different when, when it comes down to it yet,
11:43:57 in some ways we're all the same.
11:43:59 So I know we're all different. We're all unique individuals and,
11:44:02 you know, and, and how can you divide the world into 12?
11:44:05 That's not what I'm saying either.
11:44:06 What I'm trying to get to is when it comes down to it.
11:44:09 We're all human.
11:44:10 And so we're just,
11:44:11 we just have our own uniqueness under that human umbrella.
11:44:15 So, and then we've got the water signs and the water science cancer.
11:44:19 Scorpio and Pisces.
11:44:21 And so the connection and the commonality.
11:44:23 Between the water signs.
11:44:24 Is the emotion, you know,
11:44:26 and they say that the water signs. Yeah.
11:44:30 As I said to the psychics of the Zodiac, you know,
11:44:32 there's what they teach us is there's this whole other plane or whole
11:44:36 other dimension.
11:44:37 That we, that we can't see, but we can feel.
11:44:40 So, you know,
11:44:41 and a lot of people in this space impacts as John had said,
11:44:45 they impacts. And so.
11:44:47 You know, the impacts.
11:44:48 Really show us.
11:45:12 Or I shouldn't say show us really, because it's,
11:45:15 it's a feeling it's like, it's not a visual that we can see.
11:45:17 So the water signs bring, you know, their, their impact, the impacts,
11:45:21 the psychics of the Zodiac.
11:45:22 There's a whole other plane that goes beyond the material plane,
11:45:26 you know, of the earth element or the mundane or the air,
11:45:29 which is the intellectual and the reasoning,
11:45:32 the reasoning and the logic and the facts and the figures.
11:45:41 That's sort of airy, whereas, you know,
11:45:43 the water element is definitely very emotions and feelings and,
11:45:46 you know,
11:45:47 the connection there with knowing that there's more than what we see
11:45:51 in front of us, you know, it's, it's more than that.
11:45:55 So that's how the, the,
11:45:57 the compatibilities amongst the elements fit.
11:46:00 And then we've got the fire and the air element compatible.
11:46:03 So fire and air.
11:46:05 Air go together. And if you think about the visual of that, all those,
11:46:08 the symbology of that, you know, you need it a fuel,
11:46:12 the fire.
11:46:13 And then if you think about water with fire,
11:46:15 You know, water puts out fire,
11:46:17 but you need more water than fire to actually put the fire out.
11:46:20 And then you've got earth and water.
11:46:22 They're the compatible elements together.
11:46:24 And so I, I jokingly I say jokingly, say that, you know,
11:46:28 if you have.
11:46:29 Too much water on earth.
11:46:31 It creates a mud in some ways. So you've got to be,
11:46:36 you know, it's all about balance. I mean, that's what life is,
11:46:38 you know, and again, it's a, it's a reflection.
11:46:40 You know, the planets and our natural.
11:46:47 The natural cycles of our world, you know,
11:46:50 teach us about balance.
11:46:52 So when you think you bring it down to the elements and how these 12
11:46:55 Zodiac signs fit into four different elements, fire earth,
11:46:59 air, and water, you know, it's very much about finding that balance.
11:47:02 Too much air will put the fire out too much. Fire.
11:47:05 You know, it just takes over everything.
11:47:07 So apply that to someone you might know in your life. You know,
11:47:11 someone who's quite fiery.
11:47:26 And then too much fire. It's like, it's, it's burning hot.
11:47:29 It's overwhelming. You know, it's,
11:47:31 it's uncontained think about fires,
11:47:34 how they get and how I bushfires,
11:47:36 how they can get completely uncontained and how much water it takes to
11:47:40 put them out. But on, on the other hand, you know,
11:47:42 fire keeps us warm and we think about, you know, fire.
11:47:46 Changed changed humans. You know, when,
11:47:49 when fire was discovered.
11:48:01 Think about earth and I keep using the mountain as the example,
11:48:04 but you know, like when we've got a volcano that's earth, that's you,
11:48:08 if the rafting, but it takes a lot to get there, to get to that point,
11:48:11 you know, in the earth signs, Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, you know,
11:48:15 they're grounded, grounded ground is the earth. Yeah.
11:48:18 And when, you know, there's a buildup and a buildup,
11:48:21 then we have a volcano, you know, this explosion.
11:48:23 So if you put, if you put these,
11:48:26 if you put the elements and use them,
11:48:28 You know, this, the symbology of what it's about.
11:48:32 It's just so much easier to remember and to
11:48:35 understand.
11:48:36 To know how they function. And then the air,
11:48:40 as I'd said before, you know, too much air we've got.
11:48:43 Hurricanes and tornadoes.
11:48:45 And you think about,
11:48:46 if you might know somebody who has a lot of air element in their
11:48:50 natal birth chart.
11:48:51 They'll come into a room like a tornado whip through the,
11:48:54 through the room and then, you know, whip out again.
11:48:56 And then the water.
11:48:57 Too much.
11:48:58 Too much saturation from too much water
11:49:02 energy, and it becomes a tidal wave.
11:49:04 And I don't know if in any of you had any dreams.
11:49:06 About tidal waves over the years, any sort of tidal wave.
11:49:11 They say that dreaming of a tidal wave means, you know, big emotions.
11:49:15 So, you know, it's, as I said, it's all connected with these.
11:49:19 With these divinations and things.
11:49:20 So I'm just reading what's Sebastian saying.
11:49:21 Looked at UK, it's actually a half equally across the signs.
11:49:24 Okay. So Sebastian says.
11:49:29 So when I looked that up for the UK,
11:49:32 it's actually not half equally across the signs.
11:49:34 Timber has more birthdays.
11:49:39 I used to have dreams of title-wise Kate D used to have dreams of
11:49:42 tidal waves, but not now. Yes. Thankfully I know.
11:49:45 So, so that that's, when we think about, you know, water,
11:49:48 the water element.
11:49:50 And I, you know, I use the ocean as an example,
11:49:53 and now I'm talking about tidal waves. I'm talking about really big.
11:49:55 Bodies of water, but you know, water, water is water.
11:49:59 And that also, you know, water will fill a container.
11:50:06 So, you know, I have my, have my tea cup here and, you know,
11:50:09 it's filled with water.
11:50:10 And, you know, it will feel the shape of the container.
11:50:20 Whatever that is, apply that to, you know,
11:50:24 the water element in astrology. And if you have, you know,
11:50:27 a lot of planets in water signs,
11:50:29 The emotion feels the container, or, you know,
11:50:32 sometimes it is hard to contain like fire.
11:50:37 So fire and water, we think of being two opposites. And so, you know,
11:50:41 the fire signs, Aries, Leo surge, the water signs being cancer,
11:50:44 Scorpio, Pisces.
11:50:45 Again, use people that, you know, in your life as examples.
11:50:47 Or that have a lot of that, that element in their chart.
11:50:50 And so the difference between the two.
11:50:55 You know, water being the emotional feeling, the container fire,
11:50:59 being the inspirational aspirational.
11:51:01 Also uncontained.
11:51:05 So think about that, you know, foreign,
11:51:06 foreign water being uncontained, but in very, very different ways.
11:51:10 And then of course, you know, earth and air.
11:51:14 What, what do Orthonet have in common? Not that much.
11:51:21 So that's why the groupings of fire and air and earth and
11:51:25 water, you know, those two groupings for the elements.
11:51:30 Now with,
11:51:31 with the modalities or the qualities Cardinal fixed and mutable,
11:51:35 the connection day is.
11:51:41 You know, for the Cardinal signs, Aries, cancer, Libra, and Capricorn,
11:51:44 that, that they're not just leaders, but when there's a planet,
11:51:48 By transit. And I'm going to try and keep this, you know,
11:51:52 top level, high level staff.
11:51:53 But when there's a transit meaning.
11:51:58 When transits mean how the planets are influencing us at any
11:52:02 given time. So I'll just use now as an example.
11:52:05 You know, so now, as an example, you know,
11:52:08 the planets will be influencing us in a certain way.
11:52:13 Then the easiest way to look and see is the
11:52:17 grouping of these qualities or modalities.
11:52:19 So for example, say Mars, moving into Gemini.
11:52:26 Would be, you know, I'd say, well for the mutable signs,
11:52:29 which is Gemini Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.
11:52:49 Then, you know, you might notice this energy a whole lot more because,
11:52:53 you know, Mars in Gemini Geminis, a mutable sign.
11:52:56 So the other mutable signs are going to get a really big boost.
11:52:59 I can also look to the element, you know, Gemini being an air sign.
11:53:02 And I would say this is great for the air signs. It's a compatible.
11:53:06 Easy flowing energy for that, eh,
11:53:09 energy and the air science being Gemini Libra and Aquarius.
11:53:12 So they're two different types of.
11:53:13 I'll say forecasting techniques.
11:53:16 It's not quite that it's along those lines.
11:53:19 I've used compatibility as an example.
11:53:21 And now I'm looking to use these different groupings to make my
11:53:25 forecasting techniques a lot.
11:53:33 More simple, a lot more easy to understand,
11:53:36 because I know how the signs connect now through these
11:53:39 two types of classifications. So it's really,
11:53:42 really important to really.
11:53:51 To get your head around these two types of classifications,
11:53:54 because basically these classifications of the elements in the
11:53:56 qualities,
11:53:58 I really the foundation for a lot of other things in astrology.
11:54:01 Once now we start moving beyond the Zodiac signs.
11:54:04 Because, you know,
11:54:05 next time our next class is April 7th.
11:54:09 On April 7th, we've got, you know,
11:54:12 I'll be talking about the planets.
11:54:14 And so not that we need these signed classifications and how they
11:54:17 connect in together for the next lesson.

11:54:36 very much about, you know,
11:54:38 how everything connects and how it all fits and how these
11:54:42 classifications can be used.

11:54:49 About not just compatibility but forecasting or what astrologists
11:54:53 called transits and transits are forecasting.

11:56:01 the sign classifications is really important.
11:56:04 Because of what I had just said.
11:56:06 It's great. Not just,
11:56:08 not just for compatibility with others and then forecasting
11:56:11 techniques, but also within ourselves because you know,
11:56:14 our birth chart, our natal chart.
11:56:16 It's made up of so many different components. It's,
11:56:18 it's all the planets, or if you want to put asteroids in,
11:56:21 because we do have a lesson on asteroids as well with the planets.
11:56:25 You know, and then the different signs that they're in. So it,
11:56:28 it really does give a short hand and I'm going to use an example and
11:56:31 apologies if I'm just jumping way, way far ahead.
11:56:33 But just, just to show you what I'm talking about.
11:56:36 So again, we're going to use,
11:56:37 let's just go back to using the example I was using.
11:56:40 With the tourist son.
11:56:42 Aries moon and mercury in Gemini.
11:56:48 So what's the connection there. Well, we know that Aries.
11:56:56 And Gemini are compatible because Aries is fire.
11:56:59 Gemini is air.
11:57:01 So we're we look straight away and we'll say, okay, this individual,
11:57:04 this individual.
11:57:11 Has moon in Aries and mercury in Gemini. So, Oh,
11:57:15 that looks like that. The moon, which is emotions and mercury,
11:57:18 which is the mind.
11:57:19 Compatible.
11:57:37 Because then we'd call that a 60 degree angle, which is a sex doll.
11:57:41 Then we know that that's compatible.
11:57:42 So we know that with this individual, that the,
11:57:46 the heart of emotion of the moon and the mind of
11:57:49 mercury get on really well. So heart and mind really flow.
11:57:53 And we know that the individual is a fast thinker.
11:57:56 And also emotionally fast moving, even though tourists.
11:58:00 Is a fixed sign and it can be quite.
11:58:02 You know, stable and solid.
11:58:04 These other things about this individual will be moving quickly.
11:58:07 Hopefully that all made sense then. So w what I'm trying to do is.
11:58:10 You know, show you that.
11:58:11 You know,
11:58:13 once you understand the sign classifications and the compatibility
11:58:16 between the signs, you can apply that to your own natal chart.
11:58:20 You know, when the time is right.
11:58:23 Your own natal chart to understand how your own planets are
11:58:27 compatible and how your own planets get on with each other,
11:58:31 because you know what, what we want to.
11:58:33 Easy.
11:58:37 Connections or good connections that,
11:58:40 that bring A's to our life. And this is by our natal chart,
11:58:43 but also by transit as well. So I'll again, I'll use.
11:58:46 Mars in Gemini as an example for this for,
11:58:50 you know,
11:58:51 The example I've been using.
11:59:00 So sun in tourists, but moon,
11:59:02 moon in Aries and then mercury in Gemini.
11:59:05 And then we've got Mars in Gemini. So we know that, you know,
11:59:08 Mars in Gemini with mercury and Gemini, and we know that the.
11:59:11 You know, the intellectual cerebral logical.
11:59:15 Reasoning is going to be supercharged when Mars is in Gemini to
11:59:18 mercury and Gemini, that's just an example.
11:59:21 So, and that's an easy one, but maybe, you know,
11:59:23 moon in Aries to Mars in Gemini.
11:59:25 We know that there's a great connection there.
11:59:27 To this individual's moon. And so we know that.
11:59:30 Anything intellectual is really going to make the individual feel
11:59:34 good.
11:59:34 So I'm going to stop with that exam because I feel like I'm sort of
11:59:37 getting way ahead of myself there.
12:00:05 And launching straight into it, but it's like,
12:00:07 I was trying to sort of demonstrate why the
12:00:10 sign classifications are so crucial.
12:00:13 And if there's anything that you really could put time into,
12:00:17 it would be these sign classifications.

11:06:10 but Zodiac signs is where we all start with astrology.
11:06:14 We start with our sign. We start with the symbol.
11:06:17 We may read our daily horoscope and I'll say newspaper,
11:06:20 but that's going to date.
11:06:27 Date date. I'm dating myself when I say the newspaper,
11:06:31 because it's like the daily horoscopes.
11:06:32 It's all about the internet or getting it in an email and what have
11:06:36 you. But we started somewhere with our Zodiac sign.
11:06:39 That's how everybody starts with astrology. Some characteristics,
11:06:43 the people we love,
11:06:44 the people we might have a crush on and I'm talking when we're young,
11:06:46 right? So we know there's signs.
11:06:48 We might know compatibility between signs, but, but there.
11:06:51 Is a formula.
11:06:53 With regards to a Zodiac signs and then some sort of compatibility.
11:06:57 And that is, you know,
11:06:58 basically you've got the elements and we'll talk about that in the
11:07:01 future chapters.
11:07:02 We do.
11:07:03 At the elements, fire earth, air and water.
11:07:05 And then we grouped the Zodiac signs into different groupings.
11:07:08 So for today.
11:07:09 You know, the first sign of the Zodiac is Aries.
11:07:12 And there's a good reason why Aries is the first sign.
11:07:14 And that is because,
11:07:15 and I want to see if I've got anybody that's posted anything about
11:07:18 Aries in here. Let me see if you're in areas and you haven't posted.
11:07:21 Do that, let me know if you are an Aries, but basically,
11:07:25 or if you know, you have any planets in Aries,
11:07:26 let me know about that as well. But Aries,
11:07:29 the first sign of the Zodiac, you know, Aries,
11:07:31 the symbol of Aries is the Ram.
11:07:34 And so the Ram.
11:07:34 And this is, this is applicable to all of the Zodiac signs.
11:07:37 Look at the symbol.
11:07:38 The symbol really of the Zodiac sign is the shortcut.
11:08:02 To the sign. So what I mean by that is, you know,
11:08:05 with areas it's the Ram and the ran has big hones and,
11:08:09 you know, the, the part that Aries rules on the body is the head.
11:08:13 So you've got these big horns with a head and Aries will be ramming
11:08:17 it's way, way in.
11:08:19 So it's like a physical fire sign that sort of Rams its way in.
11:08:23 And it's fellas. It's absolutely fearless.
11:08:26 So Aries becomes it's a Cardinal sign, the Cardinal signs.
11:08:30 Or the leaders of the Zodiac and the Cardinal signs.
11:08:33 Areas cancer, labor Capricorn. And of course,
11:08:35 They lead in different ways.
11:08:36 So with areas the first, the first sign of the Zodiac ramming through,
11:08:40 and I keep scrolling through to see if we have any areas here.
11:08:42 Nikki says Aries from my Tampa house.
11:08:44 Part of fortune Erica. Great. You know,
11:08:46 that part of fortune sat in retrograde in Aries, Joanna. Okay.
11:08:50 So, and sat in his calm a bit.

11:08:54 So areas being the first sign of the Zodiac,
11:08:56 there's a reason why Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac.
11:08:59 There's a reason why Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac. And.
11:09:22 I'm talking fast because I want to make sure that I get through each
11:09:24 of the signs. So air is being the first side, look to the symbol,
11:09:28 look to the symbol for all the signs.
11:09:30 Aries takes charge areas is the leader. And if you're not an areas,
11:09:33 do you have an areas in your life? And you know,
11:09:36 if you want to put that in the chat as well, areas are the boss. Yes,
11:09:39 absolutely. Areas of the boss don't mess with an Aries.
11:09:42 But the thing with Aries is they don't hold grudges areas are just
11:09:45 moving. So.
11:09:46 So fast and so furious that they don't have time to hang on to things.
11:09:50 So then they're just sort of moving onto the next thing, thankfully.
11:09:53 Because Aries I say is the warrior of the Zodiac.
11:09:55 Aries is the brave fearless warrior.
11:09:58 And, you know, in astrology there's,
11:09:59 there's a light side and a dark side.
11:10:01 To everything, to all energies. And so, and I,
11:10:04 I try and avoid the words good and bad because it's,
11:10:07 it's not about that. It just is.
11:10:09 So, you know, with the light side of areas,
11:10:11 they take charge and they lead us into new directions and nothing
11:10:15 phases, an Aries. They're very bright.
11:10:17 The dark side though, is if we're not utilizing the energy,
11:10:21 not just to be Aries, but if any sign or any planet.
11:10:27 Then there might be the shadow side, you know, that we live through,
11:10:30 if we don't own that,
11:10:32 that part of ourselves and really what comes about w with these sides,
11:10:36 all different components that we might not use of these energies is by
11:10:39 transit. Again, I'm getting ahead of myself.
11:10:42 I do today. Want to focus only on the signs, but.
11:10:45 For those of you that know a little bit more than just the signs it's
11:10:49 very much about by transit. That means how,
11:10:52 where the planets are now or at any given time and how they're
11:10:55 influencing us now.
11:10:56 It's sort of like.
11:10:57 Sometimes throwing fuel on fire.
11:11:03 So you can think of a transit like that.
11:11:04 It doesn't mean it's negative. It just means it amplifies,
11:11:07 or it brings out from the shadows, you know,
11:11:10 the energy of that, that sign or that planet, or what have you.
11:11:16 Nikki says areas of the boss, my sister and her husband, both Aries.
11:11:19 Oh my goodness. So two areas together. Think of the symbol of that.

11:32:16 and we'll call North node of planet even though it's not a physical
11:32:18 body. So Nikki has a five.
11:32:23 Five planets in Virgo. So three or more planets group together,
11:32:27 not just in a sign, but by degree. And I'm,
11:32:30 I don't want to sort of go down that route on today's event.
11:32:42 But degree, I'm trying to think what's the best suit.
11:32:45 What's the best high level explanation of that. So astrologers,
11:32:48 you know, there's 30 days to assign or 30 degrees.
11:32:51 So let's just say a degree equals a day. It doesn't really,
11:32:54 but in this example at will.
11:33:04 So there's 30 degrees to each sign. And if you've got,
11:33:07 say a planet at one degree Virgo and another planet at 29 degrees
11:33:12 Virgo,
11:33:13 that's not a conjunction and that wouldn't be considered a stellium
11:33:16 safe. It was two planets at one degree, two planets at 29.
11:33:19 That's not a stellium,
11:33:20 even though they're both in the four planets in Virgo.
11:33:22 It's only when you'd have planets.
11:33:24 Within a 10 degree orb and an orb means a grouping together,
11:33:30 a cluster coming together.
11:33:30 We will cover that further down in further chapters.
11:33:34 But basically if you have three or more planets within a 10 degree
11:33:37 orb, that is considered a stellium. Now, if that goes over your head,
11:33:40 don't worry about it. I will explain it. As, as I said in the future,

11:34:24 And so the scales and I want,
11:34:26 I'm just thinking through this to make sure is the only really
11:34:29 complete.
11:34:35 I say non-human that? Okay. Take that with a grain of salt,
11:34:38 but it's the only, not human,
11:34:41 not animal that's represented in, in the signs.
11:34:45 So labor is the scales.
11:34:47 And labor is really important because what it does.
11:34:51 And if you think about the scales, we, you know, in life,
11:34:55 we use scales the symbol of justice.
11:35:05 And you know, why we have the scales is justice is,
11:35:08 and I'm doing this again because it's like the balance.
11:35:10 It's finding the balance.
11:35:11 And I do sometimes think of the Seesaw when I think of Libra,
11:35:15 you know, it's either up or down. And if you sit on one side,
11:35:18 And there's nobody to balance out the other side of the Seesaw.

11:35:23 Libra needs the other person to balance out the scales to balance out

11:55:04 So the sun will move from Aries to tourists and it will do so at an
11:55:08 exact.

11:55:26 It's very precise. And that's the thing with astrology.
11:55:29 It's about precision that most people don't realize because with
11:55:33 astrology, it's a, it's an art and it's a science.
11:55:37 And the science part is we're tracking the movement of the planets
11:55:40 around the sun. We.
11:55:42 They know when they're going to change,
11:55:43 sign from our perspective here on earth.
11:55:45 At the exact time that that happens.
11:55:47 And so when the sun changes sign,
11:55:49 it's going to happen at an exact time, right down to the second.
11:55:53 So we know that the son.
11:55:54 We'll be an Aries or tourists.
11:55:55 And so if you're born and born meanings, meaning your first breath.
11:56:00 If you take your first breath on this earth in this lifetime,
11:56:03 it'll be it in at an exact time and exact moment of time.
11:56:06 And if that's the second while the sun is still in Aries,
11:56:10 you are an airy son.
11:56:11 So if you, if you take that first breath, you know,
11:56:14 seconds later, the sun will move into tourists. You're a tourist.
11:56:18 So what happens is.

11:56:24 I don't know what the percentage is really, but many, many,
11:56:28 many people do not know their exact time of birth.

11:57:22 it's nine 20. So this is what goes on. And I was surprised that,
11:57:25 you know, it didn't even get rounded up to 9:00 AM, let alone nine,
11:57:29 10 from nine 12.
11:57:30 So this is what goes on and on this is the astrologers nightmare of
11:57:34 having rounded, rounded up times or guest times, or what have you.
11:57:37 And this does apply to cusps.
11:57:40 So this is why people don't really know the precision of when.
11:57:42 When they were born for all these different reasons.
11:57:44 And I know birth certificates, don't record birth times all the time.
11:57:48 It's happening now nowadays, but back, you know,
11:57:51 years ago in different countries, that just didn't happen,
11:57:54 unfortunately.
11:57:55 So there is a method in astrology that astrology is due and I have
11:57:58 been tested on.
11:58:02 But it takes a really long time of focused effort and that's called
11:58:05 rectification birth time rectification. And if anybody,
11:58:09 if anybody wants to doesn't know their birth time,
11:58:13 you can have the chart rectified and a place to contact an
11:58:17 organization to contact would be the NCG.
11:58:19 Or the American Federation of astrologers would have astrology's there
11:58:23 that rectify birth times. I don't personally do it.
11:58:26 I can, I don't even do readings anymore.
11:58:28 Let alone that type of laborious work.
11:58:29 So birth time rectification,
11:58:32 we'll take a major 10 major events or more in your life.
11:58:35 And then you go through and you calculate the transits and then you
11:58:38 work out the birth times from that it's more involved than that. But.
11:58:40 There is a way to do it.
11:58:41 And, you know,
11:58:42 you'll never fully know unless the birth time is accurately recorded.
11:58:45 So with regards to costs.
11:58:47 It's very much about.
11:58:48 You know, you, you are either one side or the other.
11:59:03 But what comes in is the inner planets.
11:59:07 So you've got the sun and it's going to be in a sign and then the
11:59:10 inner planets and what I mean by inner planets, mercury and Venus,
11:59:14 really the two in the two closest in the planets.
11:59:29 Mercury is never more than 28 degrees away from the sun.
11:59:32 So that means that mercury. So if you're an Aries,
11:59:35 mercury is either going to be in Pisces, Aries or tourists.
11:59:38 Mercury will never be anywhere else.
11:59:41 No matter what sign you are,
11:59:42 mercury will always be in the sign before your soul,
11:59:46 your sun sign or the sign after. And that is it. So.
11:59:49 So again, we'll use areas as the example,
11:59:52 if you have mercury in Pisces and you're an Aries sun.
11:59:57 That adds a different flavor or dimension to your take charge,
12:00:01 go getting leadership.
12:00:02 Energy of Aries.
12:00:04 And that brings in the communication because mercury is communication
12:00:07 of Pisces.
12:00:08 And then your communication,
12:00:10 even though you've got this fearless leadership.

12:00:14 your communication won't reflect that your communication will be a lot

12:00:19 The communication of mercury in Pisces is very.

12:00:54 you start getting layer upon layer upon layer of these different
12:00:57 dimensions. And that's what makes us unique.

12:01:02 And then it just keeps getting more and more complex,

12:01:07 as unique as our birth chart becomes as unique as our fingerprint or
12:01:11 our blueprint or what have you. So that's why.

12:01:17 And you might be born on the cusp of say Aries and Pisces,
12:01:20 then that's why you think, well,
12:01:23 I've got the traits of Pisces and I've got the traits of Aries,

12:01:27 You've got the traits of areas because you have sun in Aries and
12:01:30 you've got the traits of a Pisces because mercury might be in Pisces.
12:01:33 So I hope that makes sense with what I'm trying to explain with cusps.

12:01:38 components of one side and another together.
12:01:41 Is are the inner planets and even the moon, of course,
12:01:44 because the moon moves so fast.

12:01:47 It it's more relevant in a Nitel birth chart.
12:01:50 Then anywhere else. I mean, there's other forms of astrology,
12:01:54 not other forms is other branches of astrology.
12:01:56 With electional astrology, for example, where I cast a chart.
12:02:15 To find out the best time to start something like a business or a
12:02:19 wedding or a marriage, or opening up a business.
12:02:22 I've done many of those over the years,
12:02:24 and that's where the moon will come into play,
12:02:26 but really a natal birth chart. Apart from that, the moon it's,
12:02:29 you don't use it for forecasting techniques because it moves so fast.
12:02:38 So coming back to the example of Aries,
12:02:40 and if you're born on the cusp of Aries, tourists, or Pisces Aries,
12:02:44 the moon might also be one of those sides.
12:02:46 It could be anywhere else because it moves so fast.
12:02:48 If you're an Aries, the moon could be in Libra or Scorpio or,
12:02:52 or any other sign,
12:02:53 it doesn't matter because it's moving so fast and it's cycle is 28
12:02:56 days.
